There were precisely three ants on my desk at all hours of the day when I was at the computer today. Regardless of how many ants I captured and released outside my bedroom, there were always three there. I talked to my neighbour and she has an ant problem too. (Our rooms are separated by a wall that looks like it has holes in it.)

So now I feel like a hypocrite because I say that I can't kill ants, I can't stand squishing them. And yet I go out and buy a set of bug bombs and basically commit insect genocide.

My room had it coming for a long while anyway. Lately I've seen the odd fly buzzing around in here. And one time I turned around and there was a spider dangling off a thread right next to my face. I caught them all and released them outside but there comes a point where I get fed up of catching bugs.

Chinese oral presentation: done. I didn't do too badly considering that I didn't do much preparation on this one, plus the topic was really difficult. I came home and watched more of Justice League Unlimited. There are some episodes missing from season 3, but aside from those I finished the whole series. Oh my gosh season 2 why so epic. You're totally right, [info]ryotakishu, Flash rarely appears but when he does he completely steals the show. I watched the S2 finale last night and the S3 one this afternoon, and S3's kinda pales in comparison 'cause it's all about, like, Lex being sneaky and Darkseid kicking the snot out of Superman (except not), whereas S2 was all about them getting close to turning into the Justice Lords and, and Flash zooming across the world and smashing Brainiac off of Lex over and over and almost being absorbed into the speed force as a result gahhhh. He's such a dork and so cute and gahhhh. I think I'm gonna download all the Justice League America episodes to watch too even though I've probably seen them already because Cartoon Network in Hong Kong sucks and insists on showing the same fucking episodes over and over and over again, because I wanna see more of the original bunch and more of Flash. I mean yeah, I gained a huge love for Huntress, Question, Black Canary and Vixen out of JLU but JLA's still kinda kickass.

[info]cnyll, doods, did you know that you can download episodes of Batman Beyond off of MegaDownload? Trufax, I have the "Big Time" ep on my screen right now. It's a much slower method than torrenting entire seasons, but eh, just putting it out there as an option. I almost desperately want to find the unedited version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker; it makes the Robin!torture even more traumatic. I'm not sure about this in regards to the Batman Beyond series (it's really quite violent, what with Stalker being electroshocked up the spine and Curare splattering shuriken into people and whatnot), but I found that JLU does a really good job of wavering between it being totally kid-friendly and being PG-13. I mean, the heroes don't really look injured when they take damage; someone can be clawing violently at their skin and all you'll see is their costume shredding and little black scratch marks appearing. There was that episode where Diana and Shayera went to Hell, but they called it "Tartarus" instead. Vultures were ripping at Hades like in the story of Prometheus (they're meant to eat his liver; the next day he's revived and the whole torture starts again) but all you see are his clothes tearing off in bits. But at the same time they make references that only adults/older teens will get, like Shayera implying that Flash doesn't stand a chance with Fire because she's a lesbian (which I was thinking anyway, she was so gay for Ice when I saw them in the comic books XD) and... and oh God, the "Epilogue" episode. I loled.

Amanda Waller: It was easy obtaining [Bruce Wayne]'s DNA. He left it all over town.
Terry McGinnis: ............................
Amanda Waller: NOT LIKE THAT.

I feel like such a nerd for having been excited whenever I saw Red Tornado or Ray cameo on-screen. "OH HEY. HEY, THEY WERE IN YOUNG JUSTICE! HEEEEEEEY! :D :D :D" Totally weird to see some characters though, 'cause I never would've expected their voices to be the way that they were in the cartoon. Like, I thought Red Tornado's voice would be more like J'onn's.

I also watched 88 Minutes with Charmini while the bug bomb was going off in my room? It was... alright. I was too sleepy to get into it. Al Pacino made for an interesting character, though. His character was told that he only had 88 minutes to live (ie. someone was gonna murder him), and he was... just calm. Very, very calm. Not even talking quickly or anything.

I think I have mentioned how much I dislike earlobe piercings before, but I'll mention it again. They are so. Troublesome. I took them out today to change them, because one fell out yesterday and blahblahblah long story, and when I tried to put new ones in, I couldn't find the holes again. I ended up ripping new ones through my skin. So it kind of tingles a little. Not a problem, but just. Ugh.

I have to go to a class about The Color Purple tomorrow and I haven't read the book. I'm worried 'cause I have exams next week and I need that book for it, but I haven't been able to get my hands on a copy. Ehhh. I hope someone'll be willing to lend it to me over the weekend tomorrow otherwise I'm pretty much fucked for the exam.
