Finally, the long awaited results of the last SKETCH NIGHT (Now with a commentary track!)
Rorschach from Watchmen as a My Little Pony for atomicfiction This one came together disturbingly well... like it was meant to be. I had a freaking ball drawing this. XD
Louise Brooks surrounded by dragonflies for carmyarmyofme So many beautiful photos to choose as reference!
A steampunk girl with a hand-held light cannon for emiko Steampunk is fun to draw, but I always get way side-tracked looking at all the gorgeous stuff I stumble upon while researching.
Jack Black and Jack White for squigglycomics I tried for something a little more epic than my usual fare for this meeting of rockers.
Einstein with one of those really big circular lollipops for alexjeffries Big ass lollipops make me happy. I think it's the kind of reaction hard-wired into most of our brains.
Sky Pirates for nomin I've always wanted an aviator hat/cap -- but I would have no idea when I could wear it. Perhaps at important meetings.
"The arrows stomp back" for negaduck9 Oh damn you DDR arrows, how you taunt me with your rapid scrolling!
Portrait for lost_october Portraits are like walking unarmed into the tigers' cage. And I like it.
Spike for the_sexorcist Ah, the cheekbones of awesomeness!
Frogs in footwear for stillcarl It was more difficult to figure out how shoes would fit on frogs' feet than I had originally though.
Portrait for girlafraid Another portrait, another dance. ;D
The Blob for popstarninja Should I have been as gleeful as I was drawing this?
Midna from Zelda: Twilight Princess for b_sides I haven't played this game, so hopefully I captured the character through my reference research. She's a cutie, huh?
Something involving lesbian jam for mollinda Oh, a challenge! I honestly had no idea what I was going to do till the moment I started sketching.
A mischievous moon for smallerdemon The moon is ALWAYS mischievous. Heh.
Pick up a book or find a picture or listen to a song, and then draw whatever is there for mlewys Another challenge? And an insidious one to boot. Luckily the book next to me was my well-worn copy of "Great American Folklore". This drawing is based on a version of this story found within.
A wiccan mermaid for bunnidarling I like drawing mermaids; their lovely curvy tails are so fun to pose.
Opus for blake_reitz One of my all time favorite comic strips! I want a dandelion field of my own.
Evil Supervillain me for beagleboy I creep unseen through the night...
A squid hugging a guitar for kenzasaurus_rex Ha! Squids and guitars go together like peanut butter and jelly!
Herself and a whistling unicorn for scarrrrlett I had to work pretty hard to get that unicorn to whistle -- they are really stuck-up.
Portrait(on blank sketchbook) for thehellkitty Yay for red hair! I get to bust out the markers!
Her best friend Chase with a monkey and a cityscape for cherry_divinity I in no way captured how gorgeous Chase is in his photos.
Captain Jack Sparrow for jmpaolilli The good captain, always a pleaure.
