Last night, I was invited to karaoke by the head of the Kobayashi International Club. She's an awesome lady who speaks great English and likes Oh-chan. Ohno people are good people, right? At karaoke there's also another CIR office guy from Japan and a guy from the Philippines. The former enjoyed lots of "Classics" and the latter preferred a mixture of Diva ballads (ranging from Kelly Clarkson to Celine Dion) to 80s power ballads, (I WANNA KNOW WHAT LOVE IS!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT YOU TO SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW ME!) *Hal Sparks Driving Mime*

So in other words, they don't mind if I do a little Johnny's pop. And anyway we went to a smaller club which didn't have as many English selections i.e. few of my English bands had much representation. The club is a little more ghetto and featured the standard "People shopping for fruit, surfing, animals of the Serengeti" backgrounds behind all the lyrics.

It's nearing the end and I'm typing random things into the machine to see what it's got. And lo and behold! Still Time! My favoritest Saiyuki theme EVER! Well I gotta do that.

And suddenly, there's Sanzo Ikkou on screen... fighting the Pof and occasionally draped in chains.

*facepalm*

At least this group couldn't give me too much crap after their selections...
