It's been a great 2008, my dears. Tomorrow we jump off into a new year and a new life. So throw out the old baggage, clean up your rooms and ready yourselves for a party tonight! We'll greet 2009 in style~!

Let's review this year in a more orderly fashion. I know 2008 was the best and worst year but it can't be that bad, yes?


[January]

-I spent the first day of the year at work. (Memorable because I was taking a call when there were lots of shouting and jumping around the place! The whole place shook with excitement!)
-I celebrated my second anniversary with an ex-boyfriend.

[February]

-My sister went to her first prom. (Aww!) I didn't get to go there because it was a work day.
-I fell in love with LV. It was slow-going but it had to happen. I can't believe my heart was stolen by a cute chinito!

[March]

-I became best friends with Ate Bong. She's a real sweetheart.
-My LJ became flooded with stalker-like entries about the progressive development of a "relationship" or "bond" with LV.
-Went on an amazing trip to a nature reserve to feed fish with the family. (Had to miss work!)
-Got addicted to Gossip Girl. ~XD

[April]

-Ate Bong resigned from work. My work looked dreadful.
-Had an epiphany about how lonely it got when I didn't have a social life beyond work.
-Went on a team building twice with teammates in La Leona resort! Those were definitely the best times of my life!

[May]

-Tried to move on from my LV infatuation. Yes, I tried.
-The School VS Work Argument here. Where people persuaded me to take up my studies instead of work because I was better-tempered when I wasn't stressed.
-An uneventful birthday resulted in treating the boys instead of the girls. It turned out that I could count on Eman and Marzo more than the Weiss Kreuz. I treated them to Yellow Cab pizza where I purposely alienated my then-boyfriend to give him the hint. Hint ignored. Sigh.
-Was pushed into LRC Training with three others. It only helped me become lazier. ~XD

[June]

-Resigned from work. Greatest decision I've ever made yet.
-Had withdrawal symptoms from resigning from the only place I got paid for showing up.
-Enrolled into the first semester in school and unexpectedly got into most senior subjects. Still saw the former bitch-classmates from hell. But all's forgiven now.
-I bought my first cell-phone! Elle is still alive and beeping today! (Albeit a bit battered and worse for wear but she still works!)
-I didn't even got to say goodbye to my teammates and team manager. That's one regret I still have.

[July]

-The realization that I'm truly out of work hits me.
-Tito Mando took us to Enchanted Kingdom for a fun day!
-I got addicted to Ouran High School Host Club. Read the manga nonstop, bought the anime and surfed the fanfiction... I started my second successful fanfic then.
-Teletech rejected me! Ouch! ><

[August]

-Broke it off officially with the Ex-Boyfriend. After finding out his disgressions from an unlikely source and coincidentally finding him on Y!m, I broke up with him. After almost two years and eight months. It was only to be expected. Surprisingly, I didn't cry.
-Went on an Immersion project where I realized how much difference I could do for the world.
-Got addicted to Fullmetal Alchemist and xxxHolic as well. Rawr!
-Met with the second Ex on a jeepney then proceeded to have a pseudo-relationship with him a day later. What can I say? Rebound really sucks.

[September]

-The second Ex disappeared off the face of the earth after a brief interlude. It was fling, really. Realized that I can be a better woman by relishing my time alone instead of forcing myself upon other males. I'd rather be the independent single girl than fraternize with jerks.
-Got addicted to Tsubasa Chronicle this time. The suking DVD vendor had a field day with me.
-Spent more time at home than any other place. (I'm supposed to be proud of that?)

[October]

-Went on a blind date from hell and regretted it.
-Tried to focus on internal growth and stop the withdrawal symptoms from work.
-Became addicted to the ClowxYuuko pairing as well as other crack!pairs.
-Mama's birthday came and went.

[November]

-Spent the sem-break in Manila with cousins.
-Major shopping month! Lots of good buys sitting on my closet now.
-Tried to be more outgoing a.k.a PR Princess.
-Edited most of my old stories.
-Reconnected with an old friend in Z3roalpha. I miss you, dude!
-Met up with Lazy-kun for his birthday.

[December]

-Possibly the most prolific month in my tenure as a fanfiction writer. I don't know if it's the weather or the Christmas season but my fic count went up! (Not convinced? Go here.)
-Got addicted to Death Note this time! (It's all Nina's fault~!!!) Plus I discovered Kenichi Matsuyama who is the future father of my fic-children! Totally awesome.
-Christmas was spent with family. Emphasis on family. Lots of extended relatives around for a round of drinks!
-Gave away Christmas presents to everyone including old friends, old teammates, TM Ice, Mami Lyn, LV and family. If I had more money, I'd give away gifts to random strangers. (Maybe I can do that next year, yes?)
-Greeted LV a Happy Birthday and spent precious time on the phone talking to him. (My love never died!)
-Oh, before I forget, I donated blood!
 

• Continued with the clean lifestyle- no cigarettes, no bad boys and no casual s3x.
• I hugged people.
• I succeeded into morphing into the PInk Demon again. (Sorbet colors, remember?)
• Inspired people by using stories? ~XD
