While India's Independence Day is often celebrated with kites, the US celebrated with fireworks. How does each methods reflect its culture?

I thought this was an amazing question. I usually loath the "writers block" they put on here as theyr'e not ery good to reflect on. However, this one i think is worthy of it. Any way, I think it's interesting, as it goes to show that Americans took something from another culture and use it to celebrate our own indipendence. hmm. Kites are peieceful, letting the wind sway them which way they will. But they go with the flowe, and don't really resist. it's very almost buddist. then there's us glorious americans who just like to blow shit up. and the fireworks represent how we did blow shit up when we were at war with the brits. yes! let us celebrate our destruction of things!
america is basically an arrogent adolecent kid. The balls have grown, but american just cna't figure out the difference between earned respect and dumb arrogance.
My country depresses me.
