Wow.. I've read a lot of others' answers and they blow me away with sheer stupidity. If you're reading this, click READ MORE. NOW. I have alot to say on this matter and you should read it.
Fucking people need to use some common sense instead of magnetizing your young impressionable asses to the "hip" politics scene (read: liberal brainwashing). You all got brains, please use them.
It seems the question is Indian kites vs. American fireworks and how they reflect the cultures of the two respective nations. Its kind of like.. uncivilized, downtrodden, archaic third-world stone age bullshit that writhes in (literally) shit-covered streets with no standards of public safety or health vs. sophisticated, articulate, prosperous and refined American beauty that makes damn good use of modern technology while blending countless cultural traditions.. and everyone on LJ's bitching about how Americans prefer violence. All the sudden, fireworks are violent when put up against kites. By that logic, Disneyland, the Happiest Place on Earth, is now the Most Violent Place on Earth.
If you honestly think fireworks are violent, you're cocked in your goddamn head. But that is beyond the point.
Next time you over-privileged "hip" youth break away from perusing Livejournal and Myspace through your parents' internet connections and you want to make some stupid fucking remarks about how America is so terrible, consider this:
