First of all, what is the song in that car commercial where the guy is walking around the car admiring it, and the song is like "Something in the way you move, little darling, something ___________, make me realize." Those are basically the words and it's slow and is NOT the Beatles/McCartney song with similar words! Help! Okay, now I just wanted to update you on a post I made a long time ago ...

In the same vein as longlongwaytogo 's recent question , does anybody know a site that will convert from swf to something else (preferably something that'll play on an iPod . . .)? I've found sites that'll convert to swf, but I need the other direction . . .

I was wondering if anyone who has a copy of The Long Secret by Louise Fitzhugh could type out or scan a particular passage which I think is on page 220? It has to do with Beth Ellen getting upset and maybe crying when she's at Harriet's house, and Harriet surprisingly reaching over and holding her hand. It's one of my favorite passages in a book and I want to use it for something.

I seem to recall reading this short story, for class, about this hermit, stranded somewhere on an island. He'd been sent there during whatever war he'd participated in and the shack he lived in was still full of old weaponry. And in a wild veer away from... whatever that one is, I present to you KMFDM's D.I.Y. - the classical piece they play over sounds really familiar, but I'm not sure if it's something they ginned up for the song or borrowed from an existing orchestral piece.
