i am confused

the boss has done a 360, she is asking my opinion on things and actually listening!!!!

she keeps telling me and i mean like everyday, how we have to work more like a well polished machine, and i get that the better we work together the better the place will be, plus she is being all nice. she keeps saying to me "ez i know we have our differneces but we used to be really good friends, and i hope we still are" blah blah blah. i just dont know what to say to her. i am professional and will do whatever it takes to get all the things we have to work out up and running and have no problem putting my mask on and acting like we are 100% together on things. i can play her game, i want it to work. i want my work place to be the best! the best care, the best team, the best staff, the best reputation. what i dont get is where this is coming from. what has caused this turn around.

the only conclusion i can come up with is that she has realised that since she started as the boss we have lost pretty much all of our best and most loved (by the residents) care staff, that nearly all the staff bar 2 are new and have been there less then a year, and that no one else actually knows how to use the funding tool. or maybe the old boss has said something to her. emma always catches me on crazy days where i am utterly exhausted both mentally and physically and the last time i seen her i was on the verge on tears (i was THAT exhausted and run down i just couldnt hide it), emma would have told the old boss about it so it wouldnt surprise me lol...... never trust a catholic ex school captain tee hee hee

work politics just plain baffles me.... i just dont get why it has to be so complicated.

anywho life is good and i think i am going to change up my bedroom, its been the same way for soo long and i kinda want to put up some of the paintings i have been doing lately.

a fresh new positive outlook calls for my room to slightly change lol
