I've been meaning to post this meme from svgurl for a while now, so here goes!
Comment on this post. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so others can play along.
bruce/diana

Bruce & Diana is my first pairing for both of them, and while I'm also happily shipping them with others now, I'd always have a special affection for them. These are two incredibly stubborn, passionate characters, from completely different worlds, warriors in every sense of the word. As far as canon goes, I adore their relationship for what it is -- a very deep friendship borne out of mutual history over the years, and to say that Diana and Bruce have gone through a lot together would be an understatement. They've seen and held each other strong during some of their most broken moments, and by Diana's own admission, Bruce is the one who has always kept them all together and one of the very few whom she felt the safest with. And they can be so unexpectedly funny together too. :)
cassandra cain

Cassandra Cain AKA Batgirl is actually one of those never-heard-before characters that I got introduced to when I first read the comics (e.g. No Man's Land, Justice League Elite) but have never really gotten around to check her own series properly, save for a few early issues of Kelley Puckett's (the guy who has also written my favorite Supergirl) run. Cass is one of the finest examples when it comes to the big "nature vs. nurture" argument -- born and raised to be the ultimate killer, she retains her natural compassion and capacity for forgiveness.
charlie crews

Charlie Crews, LAPD, and the main character for NBC's Life. I've fallen like a ton of bricks for this guy, even if I had never really talked about him before. :p Framed and sentenced to life for a triple murder, Charlie did twelve years before he was exonerated. Brilliant, wacky and completely obsessed with fresh fruit, even got his own personal pineapple. He makes me laugh my head off one moment and truly scares me the next. Just as you can never mistake that whole boatload of rage rumbling underneath, you can also never mistake the gentle kindness to his person. Of course, Charlie getting indirectly compared to Batman delights me to no end. And yes, I do think Ted is his Alfred & Robin all in one.
cloud strife

I've never played any Final Fantasy or games whatsoever, but Advent Children is enough to make a Cloud fan out of me. He brooded and angsted, but he'd never let it get in the way of what needed to be done, and there's nothing that can keep him down, not even with a bullet or a giant sword poking through the heart. In fact, it's the easiest thing to get him pissed off like hell instead. Cloud has a lot of inner strength and quiet positivity, but I still find it amusing that the music from the movie actually got a track titled "Cloud Smiles" -- to see him smiling is such a momentous occasion.
ghibli movies

I grew up on Ghibli along with Disney, both have always been special to me in their own ways. But Ghibli still holds the place for my biggest animated crush ever. ;) Plus every time Ghibli churns out something, it's almost always a double experience for me since the English dubbed versions usually gives quite a noticeable difference in the portrayals, but equally enjoyable.
immediate music/globus Trailer music has always been made of awesome, and the people at Immediate Music are a part of that. Globus is the name they've gone with when they released their first commercial album Epicon, adding lyrics and vocals to the original tracks. And I can't talk about trailers without mentioning the great Don LaFontaine: RIP Mr. LaFontaine. Like everyone has said, TV & the movies have just become a lot less fun without you around.
life (nbc) In lots of ways, I consider Life to be the TV version of Shawshank Redemption -- characters keeping faith in themselves despite all the hell they've gone through, and their insistence in reaching out to others. These two ending scenes are among the most defining moments for Charlie as a character, and for the show as a whole.
