Work has gotten to the point where it's time to do something radical. Management continues to claim they want to do what is right for the company but in the end it's a selfish persuit of they're own income. I think the absolute worst idea that has ever came out of a consultants mouth was that of internal "business units". This is a stupid as walters home appliance. Business Units within a company has set up little fiefdoms that try to "sell" their services to other parts of the business. Heck, "services" even within a company are now being seen as "extras" because they don't make money. How stupid is that? All these MBA's considering the support mechanisms within a company are considered waste? Unbelievable!
