As it turns out, my last fortnight or so of fatigue hasn't been pure laziness! Well, we kind ofalready knew that given the never-ending sniffles, 'breathing is an effort' crap that has been going on, but we weren't sure what has been happening. And we're still not sure. However, I saw my doc tonight and he is fairly certain what's going on; he just wants a blood test to confirm it before he proceeds...
Despite this being a personal blog - and a travel blog of sorts - I haven't been posting much lately. I know it, you know it. I guess I've gotten so ingrained with the 'culture' of blogging as a job, I've somewhat forgotten how to just blog. Get it all out there and that good stuff. I've decided to become one of 'those' bloggers - you know, the ones with the good blogs because they actually talk about...
I got on the train to head into the city in the hopes that I could have just five minutes to talk to my doctor. No such luck. At least now she's knows what's up, but I almost wish I had just stayed home. Almost. I did have a nice time (despite Headcold From Hell) wandering around. (Here is a 'snapshot' from my day.)I found a fewitems for the whimsey jar swap - my first whimsey jar swap! - so...
It hasn't been as long as I thought. Not that this post should actually count as a full post. I'm just stopping in to say hello. I'm currently dealing with the prescription that didn't work, the doctor's office that doesn't pick up the phone (or return messages), the head cold that won't go away, a lot of emails, a smaller amount of postal mail and lots more. So yeah, I love you all. I've just been...
Well, we had rain today, shockingly enough. And very thunderous thunder. Melbourne doesn't do thunder often, but when she does it... wow. My brain is doing well in forming into a proper brain shape after last week's nearly complete brain-melting. I'm hoping to be able to construct more proper sentences by Wednesday. This is all I have at the moment.
I have been in places where the temperatures got hot – really hot – but I swear, the Australian sun heat has a distinct quality to it that melts your brain in ways it’s never been melted before. What was meant to bea day trip turned into in overnight trip (which is part of the reason I am, yet again, behind with... everything) and Mr. JM and I arrived back home this afternoon. With...

I just looked at my 'friends' birthdays' (February) list and a lot of my friends' parents were getting frisky in May. Sheesh. Half a dozen birthdays in the shortest month of the year?

I saw this prompt on rantingjules blog and an event that happened when I was about sixteen years old. I've made a sort-ofpromise to myself that this year I will write when the inspiration strikes, so here is me holding to my word...
