Cable had the history of this and the next few centuries stuck in his mind. Considering the implications of some of that knowledge, he'd thought it was only prudent to stay the hell out of dodge while yesterday's crazy was going on. Or at least move his work to elsewhere on the island. After coming back last night, he'd caught up on some stuff he'd missed, and now he was on the couch. With some pizzas...
