My Mother-in-law sent me this recently, I thought I'd share. 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 4. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree . 7. Cry with someone. It's more...
The election video I made which was booted from YouTube has resurfaced without warning after I lodged a complaint with YouTube. Lodging a complaint regarding my other videos would be pointless, but I do feel somewhat vindicated regarding this election video. Clearly someone at YouTube agreed with my definition of "fair use."
Ladies and Gentleman, Effective the end of this month, I intend to deletethis journal. There has been a lot of scuttlebutt about the shakeups in the LJ staff, and if the company were to die a slow death, I don't want to be one of it's victims. It's better to burn out than fade away, right? Maybe I'll take up refuge in another blogging site, but it's not likely. This was something I needed back...
So lately YouTube has been bustin my balls with copyright notifications. In their most benign form, a copyright owner stakes their claim on one of my video and monetizes it by having ads placed on my videos. I am accepting of this because at least my work stays published. Her breathing became labored, and stopped purring altogether. Today I sat her in front of the food, but she did not eat. Then in a matter of minutes after that she vomited. I placed her on the bed and just spent some time with her. At one...
Okay so it's been a while since I posted last so I figured I'd offer a real update. Recently we attended a weight loss seminar. Ya know. Medically induced weight loss. The simple fact is that I weigh more now than I did when I moved to Hawaii. And something has to change. Cristina's health insurance will cover the procedure, but only after a laundry list of stipulations are met. So the process is...
Our laptop caught a nasty bug today. It was clearly trying to steal our personal data. It was a Trojan which kept trying to claim that the computer was infected with spyware, "click here to solve all your problems.". I'm paraphrasing of course, but who ever wrote this thing was very ingenious. I disabled the Internet connection and clicked the link for shits and giggles. It opened a command line executable...
