I actually went past 50K words day before yesterday, but the story really isn't finished. I have two major events to detail, plus a bunch of scenes that I've written which I need to place within the bulk of the story (lots of character bits to add as well, to flesh out some of the people who wound up being more placeholders than they should have). I've been really pleased with how this story came along...

I couldn't resist. My vampire character in the nanowrimo novel gets tossed into a gift shop store during a fight and lands on a box of glitter. So she's all sparkly for the rest of that evening. And boy is she pissed... Heh.

Nanowrimo seems to be going well overall (I'm ahead of the minimum output so far) but I'm fast running out of plot points before reaching the end o.O. This is always the fun part, trying to just write and get anything out at all and then make sense of it. I like it when the characters come to life and run off in their own direction. Unfortunately at this point, they've all conked out and are making...
