I was looking forward to trying Glasgow, because by now you may understand the depths of my "problems" with Scotsmen. And also! It's Burns Night!

Described as:

by the lab, I don't know if this smells like Glasgow (I suspect not), but I like it. A lot. In the bottle it smells like blackberries in a sea breeze. Wet on my wrist it goes very, very green. In fact, my first thought was, this is a man's fragrance. But in time, it goes more berry, and the rosy heather smell kicks in. It's bracing and yet cheering. I really like it. It goes in the "must get more" section of the squee box.
/>I forgot to mention Diwali, which goes off sale today. I put it on the day of the Melpomene debacle and forgot to review it. It smells like an Indian holiday:

Lotus root, mogra, mango, tamarind, cardamom, clove, almond milk, cashew, rice flower, coconut, supari, raisins, and incense crafted from aloeswood, red sandalwood, cedar, and spikenard.

On me, it goes very almond and coconut at first, but then everything gradually comes out and weaves around in the most amazing, melting way. I love this enough that I wish I had a bottle, but I just placed an order of the Lupercalia update scents (how can you resist a scent called "Men Ringing Bell with Penises"?) and I am having trouble justifying another $18 when I've already bought too much. So I shall depend upon the kindness of strangers and hope to find someone with an unwanted bottle later on.
