It's night. The light of the moon illuminates the landscape. You are standing in front of a castle bridge. To the north is the bridge. To the south is a forest. To the east is a guard tower. What do you do? Look north. Across the bridge is a castle. It looks ominous and dark. It's highest towers gleam in the moonlight. The gate is shut. Look south. The forest looks gloomy. You can hear an owl hooting in the night. A lonely track leads to it. Look east. There is a guard tower. It looks deserted. Look west. There's nothing to the west. There can't be nothing, there has to be something there. I do not understand that sentence. Forget about it. Go east. You are standing in front of the guard tower. There's a door leading into it. Go inside. Go inside where? Where do you think? I do not think. Fine. Walk through the door. Ouch. The door is made of strong wood. Guh! Okay okay. Open the door. You open the door. There is no light in the room beyond. What equipment have I got with me? I do not understand that sentence. What am I carrying? I do not understand that sentence. I hate text adventures. Bla bla bla. What's the command again..? Uhmm... inv? You have the following items in your backpack: rope, key, flashlight, cowsay, some food. What's a cowsay? Moooo! Very funny. Thank you. Use the flashlight You turn on the flashlight, everything is illuminated. Go inside the room. You walk through the open door and are standing in the guard tower's main room. Look around. The room looks like it has been deserted for years. Everything is coated in a layer of dust. There's a table, a chair, a chest, a bed and stairs going up to other levels of the guard tower. Look at the table. There's nothing on the table except dust. Look at the bed. Someone or something seems to be lying underneath the faded dusty sheets. Pull the sheets. You pull the sheets off the bed, the materials have rotten away to the point they crumble before they even hit the ground. Revealed to you in the light of your solitary flashlight are the skeletal remains of what used to be a human being. There are only bones left now. There's a sword sticking through its ribcage, straight through the bed down to the floor. Ew. That's horrible. Boo. Very funny. Thank you. Shut up. Your mom. ... What? Nothing. Okay, let's just... Take the sword. You now have a sword! Huzzah! Huzzah, indeed. Make slashing motions as if in a mock fight. Tching tching! Haha, bandits! I do not understand that sentence. Whatever. Look at the chest. The chest is made of iron. It's closed. Open the chest. The chest is locked. Hmmm... inv? You have the following items in your backpack: rope, key, flashlight, cowsay, some food, sword. Ah ha! Use the key to open the chest. The key doesn't fit. I guess that would have been to easy, huh? I do not understand that sentence. Strike the lock with the sword. Bing! You strike the lock. It remains intact. Again! Bing! You strike the lock. It remains intact. Again! Bing! You strike the lock. It remains intact. Your sword breaks. Awe! inv? You have the following items in your backpack: rope, key, flashlight, cowsay, some food, broken sword (useless). Look at the stairs. The wooden beams are rotten through. Climbing them would be a good way to break your neck. Yikes. I'll just... go outside. Through the door? Uhm yah! The door leading outside? Yes. You go outside and walk into the moonlight. The air is cold and crisp and somehow it reminds you of those winter mornings at the lakeside when you were young. An owlbear is standing not 10 feet away from you. It looks hungry. Go west! Quick! The owlbear catches you and kills you to death with it's huge claws and sharp beak. If only you had had a sword to defend yourself with. Any last words? />I hate this game. "I hate this game," you croak as you are torn to pieces by the fierce owlbear.
Want to play again? (Y/n) ... Yes.
