*chapter 10*

With one glance, she moved nearer, seeing him say nothing, she moved closer, he took no notice of her, making her give out a smile, she suddenly grabbed his arm and leaned on to his shoulder, making him pull away, but Yui was too happy to pound, she haven’t seen Ueda at school for so long that she grabbed a hold of Ueda’s arm again. Ueda tried breaking free but she held on tight, smiling her seductive smile.

Ueda couldn’t just yell at her, since the teacher was still teaching, but he continues trying to break free.

The guys around them were rather envious, to them, Yui was like a goddess and Ueda was just an emotionless demon, if only Yui pay as much attention to them as she did to Ueda.

But of course, with Ueda’s beauty, 25% of the guys there was Ueda’s ‘fan’ along with the other girls in the class.

But Yui took no attention to the stares, finally the teacher had enough, “Miss Yui, if you keep on hanging on Mr. Ueda and not pay attention, I suggest you leave!” he said.

Yui slowly let go of Ueda’s arm and sat there, making a ’kid-ish’-frowning-puppy eyes face.

“You’re so lame!” yelled one of Yui’s fans to the teacher.

“What kinda teacher make a girl cry!?” yelled another.

“You can’t even teach anyways!”

“What are you talking about!? Good thing the teacher stopped her, she was all over him!” yelled a girl.

“Shut up! You’re just jealous cause all you girls are too ugly!”
/>“What the hell did you say!?”

“Everybody, calm down! Settle down!” yelled the teacher.

Yui sat there acting sad but she was actually enjoying all the attention, since it seems the whole fight was about her beauty.

**SLAM!!!**

Everybody stopped yelling, there was a moment of quiet as everybody stared at the direction of the noise. Yui covered her ears as she looked at Ueda, who had caused the noise. Ueda suddenly stood and walked angrily out of the room and the university.

But he couldn’t just leave for home, since it was Kame who had brought him to school that morning, so he had no ride, he could take a taxi or the bus, but he didn’t feel like it, so instead, he sat in the school’s yard, behind a tree and rested.

He wasn’t sure why he comes to school, he had no interest in any subject and he doesn’t, at all, attend to take over the family’s business. But actually he knew he have to, he’ll be force to.

He hated school, everybody there were all fake, they only make friends so that they won’t have to feel lonely, then when they’re with other ’friends’ they would talk shit about each others. Yet, these idiots only want to make friends with people at their status; those who were just a class lower were maids and servants in their eyes. Ueda closed his eyes, he rather be alone, he rather be an outcast then get suck into that world, he prefer his own dark world…

Suddenly as he was about to fall asleep, he remembered Junno and the words he had said. He wasn’t sure why Junno was even talking to him, wasn’t Junno mad at Ueda’s comment, Ueda thought for sure that Junno was going to leave or at least avoid Ueda, but that did not happen, he even woke Ueda up that morning… which Ueda thought was weird, the words Junno said that morning ringed through Ueda’s mind, he finally stood up and walked back to class.

“What am I doing?” Ueda sighed, but he knew that Junno’s words were pushing him to go back into that university.

*******************************

“Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!” yelled Grandma Akanishi as she hit Junno with her fan.

“Ow… what am I doing wrong?” asked Junno as he looked at the floor, he was ordered to mop the whole entrance floor by himself.

“You don’t see it? You mopped it in zigzag!? Don’t you see the spot you miss? Do it over!” she yelled.

“Hai…sempai…” mumble Junno as he mopped over it again.

Jin watched from the sideline and sighed, he remember when he first was force to work at the Ueda mansion and his grandma was rather tough on him too, but he did learn from it, and look at him now, he’s the head maid.

But in the other hand, he did feel sorry for Junno.

“Wrong!” and with another slap, “Why are you even a maid in this household if you don’t even know how to do anything!? What does master Tatsuya see in you?” yelled Grandma Akanishi as she sighed.

Junno stood there with his head down, he doesn’t even know why himself, it was true. All he ever did was spill drinks on Ueda and yet Ueda haven’t even fire him yet, so he wasn’t sure how to answer.

“He’s useful.”

Junno looked up to see Jin, who was still standing by the sideline.

“Hmm? Jin-chan, what did you say?” asked Grandma Akanishi as she looked up too.

“He’s useful… even though he suck at everything he does… he’s useful…” mumbles Jin; he wasn’t sure how to explain.

“Useful… you mean useless, dear, he’s-” but before Grandma Akanishi could say anything, Jin gave out a big sigh.

“I think he’s the key to help Ueda!” Jin shouted, Grandma Akanishi eyes widen, while Junno looked confuse.

“Junno! Continue your lesson, Jin-chan! Let’s talk!” Grandma Akanishi walked over to Jin.

“Jin… explain, what do you mean by Junno being the key to helping Ueda?” she whispered, making sure Junno wasn’t listening, which he really wasn’t, all he could think about then was making the floor clean enough to see his reflection.

“It just… I’m not sure why or how… but I saw an expression on Ueda’s face whenever it evolves Junno… well, I don’t see an expression, but it’s…” Jin really wasn’t sure how to explain.

“His eyes, right? His eyes lighten up right?” asked Grandma Akanishi.

“Yeah… that…” thought Jin as he nudged his head. That was when he noticed his grandma’s face, it was happy… why?

“Grandma-” but before Jin could finish, he notice Kame and looked away.

Grandma Akanishi looked up and saw Kame too, “Ah, isn’t it Kame-kun, where have you been?” she said as she smiled.

Jin walked over to Junno, ignoring Kame. Kame noticed it too and was about to walk over but Grandma Akanishi pulled him with her, “Lets make you something to eat! You’re way too skinny dear. Oh and Jin-chan, take care of Junno, would you?”

Jin nodded, his back facing them, Junno watched as Grandma Akanishi and Kame left the room, “Head maid Jin… what’s going on?” he finally asked, Jin suddenly grabbed the mop from Junno’s hand and started mopping hard, “Huh? Head maid Jin?” but Jin acted like Junno wasn’t even there, he didn’t know why he was acting like that, his damn heart was beating too fast!

Jin suddenly mopped harder and faster, trying hard to calm his heart.

Junno sighed as Jin mopped off, “At least he’s doing my job for me…right?” Junno thought as he turned to look at the direction of the phone, “Ah! Koki!” Junno thought as he grabbed the phone.

But of course Junno wouldn’t reach Koki, since his own cell phone was broken.

****************************

“This is a hostess bar?” asked Koki as he stood outside of Midnight Sunshine, a wooden cartoon sun sign stood at the door, pointing at it.

Maru looked at the paper, “Yep… I think... this is the right address.” Maru said as he looked up to double check, “Yep.” he glanced at Koki who looked terrify… Well, kinda, “Let’s go in…” he said as he led the way.

Koki sighed, “I hope the inside look better then the out…” Koki was expecting it to look dark, scary and well like a night club suppose to, this bar was just so lame, kid-ish even!

As they entered, a bunch of old hag jumped to meet them, “Hi, welcome to Midnight Sunshine! It’s still early but you’re welcome anytime!”

“Ooh! We have some youngster with us!” squeaked another, “Want to become a man?”

Koki shivered, “What the hell is wrong with ya!?”

“Oooh, feisty one!”

“Um, ladies, may I ask you where your boss is?” asked Maru, the ladies had trapped them into a wall.

“Hmmm? You’re here to see the boss? Oh really? So you’re that type?” sighed the ladies as they all frowned.

“What type are you guys talking about!?” yelled Koki, “Don’t tell me, your boss is freakin gay!”

The ladies frowned and nodded.

Koki’s eyes widen, “… so are you telling me that Junno is his personal…love…slave…” Koki whispered in terror, the words was almost impossible to say.

“Hmm? Junno?”

Suddenly Koki grabbed one of the lady by the collar, “WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT JUNNO!? IS JUNNO REALLY HERE!?” Koki yelled at her face.

The lady suddenly pushed free from Koki and slapped him hard, “What the hell is wrong with you!? Who the hell is this damn Junno!?” she yelled as she held on to her neck, all the other ladies comforting her.

“You damn hag! Tell me where this freaking Ueda is!?” yelled Koki as he was about to attack again but luckily Maru pulled him back.

Suddenly an old man dress in a unbutton collar shirt and bellbottoms’ jean entered the room, “Daisy? What’s wrong, wassup with all the yelling?” he asked as he noticed Maru holding back Koki, “Ah! Customers, how wonderful, and in broad daylight too!

“ARE YOU THE DAMN UEDA!?” yelled Koki, struggling to break free from Maru’s grip.

“Oh my, trouble? Oh dear, yes, I’m Ueda Nanakasa, and how may I help you sir?” asked Nanakasa as brought both hands toward his own face.

“WHERE’S JUNNO! WHERE ARE YOU HIDING HIM YOU BASTARD! YOU-” but before Koki could finish Maru covered his mouth.

“Sorry sir, but we’re looking for a Junnosuke Taguchi, does he by any chance work here?” asked Maru, struggling to hold on to Koki and covering his mouth at the same time.

“LIKE I SAY! WHO THE HELL IS THIS JUNNO!? WHY THE HELL WOULD WE HIRE A MAN IN A HOSTESS BAR? HE WOULDN‘T GET ANY BUSINESS ANYWAYS!!” yelled Daisy, the woman that Koki ’attacked’.

“Daisy, dear, calm down now. I’m sure he’s feeling bad for doing that to you.” Nanakasa said as he went over to Daisy and patted her back.

Suddenly Koki broke free from Maru’s hand that was covering his mouth and yelled, “PSSH! I bet he’ll get all the business, since he 10x better looking then any of you!”

“Koki… the way you said it, you making it sound like you want him to work here…” whispered Maru as he laughed.

“But I’m sorry to inform you, we don’t have a Junnosuke Taguchi working here, nor do we have a man, other then me, here.” answered Nanakasa.

“Thank you then, we must be on our way.” said Maru as he pulled Koki out.

That was when he finally let Koki go, but Koki didn’t say anything, he had his head down.

“Hmm, hey now, how come you’re not furious?” asked Maru as he bended down to see Koki’s face, but to see a gloomy Koki.

“I… thought for sure I’ll find him… at this rate, when will I find him?” Koki murmured, the words were hardly heard.

Maru suddenly panic, “Uh, I’m sure we’ll find him! Don’t you worry! I’m here… I mean, you have me! And I have all my contacts, and stuffs, and-” suddenly Koki wiped his own eyes, and looked up at Maru with a smile on.

“Yeah… I’m sure we’ll find him and… good thing he doesn’t work here, I wouldn’t want him to work in this cheap place anyways!” Koki said, his eyes were still teary and red, “Come on… let’s go find Junno then!” and with that Koki walked off toward Maru’s car as Maru watched Koki wiped his tears on the way.

“Who is this Junno…? I want to know…” Maru whispered as he followed.

*******************************

“So did I guess right?”

“Huh?” Jin said as he snapped back to reality, it was about dinner time and they were in the maid dining room, Junno been trying to guess what was wrong with Jin.

“So did I guess right? The reason you’re acting like this is because you want Grandma to accept your relationship with Kame, right?” Junno asked.

“Hah? What? Acting like what? And what does grandma have to do with anything…” asked Jin as he continues eating.

“Oh… so wrong guess? Hmm, so what can it be then?” Junno whispered, “Give me a clue… does it have anything to do with the relationship between you and Kame?”

“None of your business…” Jin whispered as he looked away from Junno, the spoon still in his mouth.

“Lack of trust?” asked Junno, suddenly Jin turned to Junno, “right?”

“Don’t say anything to Kame… or I’ll kill you…” Jin whispered as he pulled the spoon out of his mouth and held it like a knife.

“Huh?… so I guess right? Wait a minute?! What’s wrong with you and Kame?” asked Junno surprise, he was only guessing.

“Keep your voice down, baka!” whispered Jin.

“So… how come you don’t trust Kame?” whispered Junno.

“How should I know!?” whispered Jin loudly.

“Huh? But-” suddenly Junno was stopped by a hand landing on his shoulder; he turned slowly to see Grandma Akanishi, “Grandma?”

Suddenly there was a slap of a fan, “Sempai! SEMPAI!” she yelled.

“Oh yeah, Sempai!” Junno said as he rubbed his head.

“Come on, let’s continue your training.” Grandma Akanishi said as she pulled the tall boy behind her.

“Ah… I feel sorry for him…”

“Poor Junno…”

“But I guess, he’ll learn from it, right?”

Junno heard the other maids whispers as he was pulled pass them and out of the dining room.

Jin was relief to see Junno being pull away.

As Junno was being pulled into the entrance hall, Grandma Akanishi suddenly stopped, making Junno look up.

“Welcome home Young Master Tatsuya.” she said as she bowed, noticing Junno still standing in shock, she slapped Junno in the back of the head, “Bow!” she whispered.

Junno quickly bowed, “Welcome home, Ue- master Ueda…”

“Old Hag, why are you here?” Ueda said as he walked over.

“Old Hag!?” Junno thought as he glimpse over at Grandma Akanishi, thinking that she would get mad but instead, there was a smile on her face, “O…kay…?”

Suddenly Ueda glanced at Junno and looked away again, “Well… I’ll be in my room, call me when my dinner is ready…” he said as he walked away.

Kame walked over as Ueda went out of sight, “So… how was training?” he said, but Junno gave him a do-you-even-have-to-ask look.

Grandma Akanishi smiled, “We still have lots to learn.” and with that she pulled Junno after her.

Kame watched and gave out a smile, which was when he glanced at the direction of the maid dining room, where Jin was. He wasn’t sure if he should go talk to Jin… he wasn’t sure what to do, so instead he decided to go rest in his room.

To be continue…
