Once again it is time for "Ask the comm to help me with my job!"

... the Periodic Table of the Elements by searching it for elements that fulfill certain conditions ("This element has 13 protons" sort of thing) and plugging the abbreviated names into blanks that spell out the answer to a godawful riddle, but can't come up with a good godawful riddle with a nice short answer, and would vastly appreciate any help statements could give me in this regard.

I wonder if someone who knows about referencing can tell me if, when there are like 4 editors to a book, if, the first time you write them into a footnote, you can just say "Et Al" if you include all the names in the bibliography, or if you have to write them all the first time and then just later can say "Et al."
