In a Star Wars mood at the moment, just finished KOTOR 2 (fantastic game but the ending (both of them) were a little inconclusive and disappointing), and want KOTOR 3 and/or KOTOR Online more than ever though. To feed these wants I got a SWG trial (apparently I'm too late and it's really cruddy after this mega dumbed down nerf, the "New Game Enhancements", in 2005). It was kind kind of amusing to tell a former player (pre-NGE) that Jedi was a starter class, he thought that all they did was "make it easier to be a Jedi". Agitated former SWG players often talk of their days of hologrinding to be a Jedi, I can see why they're a bit cheesed off....

Nevertheless it's something to do for 14 days and I'm with some LOTRO guild buddies who I slightly know. I made a Wookiee Jedi called Nuriee, yeah I know, a pretty fricking awesome combination, and probably hated by loads of people for picking a Jedi. I've got a nice green speeder, which is pretty cool and a sword (no lightsaber until higher levels). It's OK I guess, but unless a this new Bioware MMO is Star Wars (or maybe if it's a Neverwinter Nights one), I think think I'll be sticking with LOTRO for a while.

In a Star Warsy mood I watched Star Wars today (ep IV). Just wondering if the Force Unleashed game will be as big as all the hype LucasArts are trying to create about it. May as well see the Clone Wars movie, although I'm disappointed it's aimed at kids, at least I'll have an excuse to see it, having a little brother and all (although I wish he still liked Bob the Builder and the Fimbles...).
