I'm trying to work on this logo for my boss on this project, but it's so freakin' hot in my apartment that I can't really concentrate on working.

Today was a holiday but I've been busy doing stuff, so I didn't have much time to create anything, it really felt like a Saturday, but I'll be back in the grind tomorrow and probably Friday since I have campaigns to launch. Aie....

So anyway, I tried saving myself some time by scheduling stuff so that I can have more time to concentrate in making a form page, sending one campaign and working on the logo. I just know it's impossible to work at home doing graphic design, and I'm much more motivated to do so at work instead, so we'll see.

Other than that I'm REALLY hoping that the lady at RBC calls me back about the pre-approval..I'm getting anxious and Saturday is only a couple of days away, I need this pre-approval NOW, or else my dad will freak. lol.

This summer is always seemingly packed with activities. This weekend I plan on going to the fireworks competition, visit contractors for the condo, and somewhere somehow, try to find the time to do laundry and house cleaning. How is that ever going to happen? I have no idea.

I'm trying to save money but the craving to buy things is getting to me, or maybe it's the heat. I want to get a new computer desktop, equipped with a Dell Slim Studio, Logitech's rechargeable keyboard - diNovo, and an MX Revolution mouse - also rechargeable. I can find this lot for about $1000-1500 depending how I want to deck out the tower.

Then I've been craving to buy a new yukata for the festival and performance in August, plus I have to buy the hat and zori. The yukatas that I want are in between the $80-$120 range, since the patterns are super nice and the obi are colorful and unique. I'm also tempted to buy these mini kanzashi (mini geisha barrettes) but at $55 a pair, I'm not so sure if it's worth it. We'll have to see as the festival approaches.

I'm trying very hard not to make unnecessary purchases, I need to save as much as possible. The only thing I'm spending on is food really. But it's hard to be frugal for, hmm...an entire year. But I have no choice, I have to save up in case something bad happens or extra spendings are needed. I need to build up my savings as much as I can.

However, I do want to go on this mini vacation to NYC for one weekend just perhaps to decompress from the pressure.

Although I have to say that a certain person that I'm seeing is making my busy life worth the stress as it's just fun and pleasant to spend time with him. For the curious, I'm not really interested in letting his presence be known to my friends yet since it just brings added pressure to bring him along to social events and presenting him. This isn't to say I'm ashamed or embarrassed by him, not at all. But after being judged on for never bringing my ex in previous events, I don't see the need to justify myself in "showing him off" just to prove that I'm with someone. For now, I will keep him simply for myself, and all I can say is that I'm very happy :)
