Thanks to [info]arabian, I've been bitten by the S1 VM Love Bug (which is never really gone, but likes to bite me in the ass unexpectedly at times, regardless.)  It's basically a prompt to pick favourites from Season One, and yeah, I had a lot of fun doing this, as I'm sure you'll be able to tell.

I opted to post here, rather than posting a reply to her awesome post (code: blame her for this), because I decided I needed accompanying visuals to my own response (not to mention the fact that I am incapable of choosing favourites of anything, especially when it comes to my favourite show, so there are runners-up for... basically everything.)

Warning:  My reasons are long-winded and rambly and most likely fangirly, but it's not like I can help myself, so you're just going to have to deal.  Pfft, like you won't enjoy it anyway. :)

So, without further ado, on to the Season One loving!  Also, y'all know I'm the Queen of the Capspam, so be sure to give this page some time to load.

THE PROMPT:
(original post, by [info]arabian, can be found here.)

Respond to the following questions (with reasons if you're so inclined),
but all of the responses should be about Season One and only Season One.
This is separated into two categories: Veronica Mars (the show) and Logan/Veronica.

VERONICA MARS.

FAVORITE EPISODE:  1x10 -- An Echolls Family Christmas

I know it's a fandom favourite, but there's a reason for that, definitely.  And yeah, I warned you, my reasons for everything are going to be long, so sit back.

There were so many little things I loved about it...  The contrast of the classes was represented the best in this episode, moreso than in any other, I think.

For example, the homely warmth and small glow of Veronica and Keith decorating their living room-sized Christmas tree with charming, homemade ornaments, contrasting with Lynn supervising "the help" adding red and silver ball ornaments (I'm pretty sure that's the only type of ornament that's on the Echolls' tree, but don't quote me on that one) onto a huge plastic tree (as in, there's a need for a ladder), complete with fake frost.

At this point in the season we've already seen many other subtle contrasts between the Mars' household and the Neptune upper crust (see: the cold blues of the Kane house v. the warm yellows and reds of the Mars apartment), and though you hardly notice it as you're watching, the contrast between the two homes in this episode is just perfect.  (Bonus points for this one later in the episode, with the town car pulling up alongside the school bus.)

I don't think there's any better character representation of the separation between the classes than the ongoing tenuous relationship between Logan and Weevil.  Their odd truce that sometimes enjoys collapsing into fairly awesome fistfights is one of my favourite relationships on the show, and I first fell in love with their interactions in The Girl Next Door (1x07), when they serve a week's worth of detention together, and finish it with impaling their teacher's car on the flagpole.  Classic.  Still, their interaction in this episode is just as great.

Oh, come on.  I know I'm not even close to the Logan/Veronica section of this post, but I couldn't NOT put this in here.  COME ON.  Who doesn't love this little exchange?  Seriously.

The big reveal at the poker game -- complete with lots of panning shots, which is always cool -- is an entertaining scene, too.  I know, I know, I'm not up to the Logan/Veronica section (I KNOW, DAMMIT), but I can't help it.  The look he gives her after she deals the cards is just way too good.  It kind of makes the scene for me, which is ridiculous, but there it is.

Also, a long time ago, Duncan and Logan's friendship didn't suck ass.  (I know, it takes a considerable amount of strain to remember this, but give it a minute.  Also, Logan misses it, too.)

It is quite a shocking ending, especially considering it's the Christmas episode.
Still, I think it's a killer (HA) ending to a killer episode.

RUNNER-UP:  1x06 -- Return of the Kane

This was the first episode to really endear me towards Logan, and I know I'm not the only one in that boat, either.  As for the episode, I'm not sure what it is about it that I love so much.  The school election is pretty ho-hum for a MotW, but somehow, I'm drawn in.  Again, it's the Haves v. the Have Nots, but exclusively to Neptune High, rather than Neptune as a whole.

Also, we get views into how family structure has survived in Neptune; Duncan seems to have a pretty good relationship with his father, but it's on the surface at best.  Honestly, you lie to your son about his only sister's murder?  It's going to put pressure on any relationship you have with him, whether he's aware of it or not.  On the other hand, Veronica and Keith bond some more over the murder case and begin to make some serious progress, and of course, there's the flagship family of this episode: the Echolls family.  Since I'm going to come back to this part of the episode later, I'll leave it at that for now.

LEAST FAVOURITE EPISODE:  1x09 -- Drinking the Kool-Aid
(no visual aid, because (a) this is a "least favourite," and (b) this is going to have enough visual aids as it is.)

Maybe it's because I haven't watched this one in ages, but I think it's probably the episode out of all of Season One that I've watched the least.  Nothing against Casey -- though I don't fangirl him like so many in the fandom do, he's just kind of... there -- or the Moon Calf Collective, but on the whole it just comes off as a weaker one to me.  However, it does bear a nice contrast to Mars vs. Mars (1x14) in that, in 1x09, Veronica's feeling is right and Keith's is wrong, whereas in 1x14 it's the opposite.  Of course, I love 1x14, so that's kind of a funny contrast too, since I'm very indifferent to 1x09.

FAVOURITE LINE:  "I keep thinking things can't get worse...  You know what?  She's all yours!"
-- Logan, Leave It To Beaver (1x22)

It's succinct, but God, something about the way he says it; he's just so defeated to everything in his life falling apart on him.  It kills me every time I hear him say it.  Also, as [info]jascott would say, unfortunately for Logan, in regard to things not getting any worse, "you are wronger than the wrongest of all wrongs, ever, in the history of being wrong."  Woe.

What kills me even more is, the way he says the second bit, somehow I get the vibe that despite the fact that she's just thrown him to the wolves without a second glance, Logan still loves Veronica.  I mean, yeah, we pretty much know he does, but still, hearing it like that?  AUGH.

FAVOURITE SCENE:  I have to side with [info]arabian again, and pick the scene from 1x06 with Logan and Aaron.

I have no idea how to express it, but the Ventura Highway scene just kills.  The song kicks in as soon as Aaron starts up the car, and plays all through the scene at the homeless shelter, and right to the end of possibly one of the most stirring sequences in the history of the show.  It's the details, as always, that really make it something spectacular; as [info]arabian noted in her own post, just as Logan announces Aaron's "donation" to the TV cameras, the song lyric "thanks a lot, son, just the same" plays, ironically enough.  Also, I didn't notice this until going through caps of the scene, but the way Aaron has his arm around Logan's shoulders is the exact same way he does it earlier in the episode, at night in their living room; he holds him pretty tightly by the neck.  Subtle, but important (also, freaky.)

Not to mention the ritualistic feel of the entire belt scene; Logan has obviously done this many times, probably for the majority of his life, but it's everything about the scene that has that feel; Logan picking out the belt, Aaron waiting quietly in his office, and Lynn calmly sipping her highball out on the couch in the living room while her husband proceeds to beat her only son in the next room.  It's so damn eerie, but it's one of the most awesome scenes ever.

RUNNER-UP:  The scenes with Logan, and Lynn and Aaron, in the hallway from Clash of the Tritons (1x12).

Another tough scene, and coincidentally, involving that same damn family.  I love how Logan is obviously still pissed off at his father, and wired from fighting, but you can still see how vulnerable he is, quite literally stuck between two parents who seem to really hate one another.  I have to give props to wardrobe (ha!  I made a dumb pun, anyone catch that?) for how they dressed Jason in this scene, too; slightly baggy clothes, in the same tones as what Aaron and Lynn are wearing.  He looks like a little boy, and almost seems to dissolve in between the two of them.  Awesome.

FAVOURITE CHARACTER:  Oh, come on, of course it's Logan.  Do you even know who you're talking to here?

It still amazes me, because my first time watching Season One, it actually took me quite a while to move from the "God, He's Such An Asshole!" Camp to the much more popular "OMG, LOGANNNNN" Camp.  And yet, here we are.  I don't even have to try not to let S2 and S3 bias me -- I still loved Logan the best after only watching S1.  He has the best lines, he's had more development at this point than any other character, and I just loved how his character had grown, and how I had grown to love him.  Logan is just complete love.

Something else I've realized, mulling this over...  I think I also love Logan the best for how I came to love him as a character.  Veronica is an open book to us because she's the voice, ears and eyes for us into the world of Neptune, but she's also a pretty straightforward character.  Logan, on the other hand, has a label placed on him in the Pilot, and quickly outgrows it.  But what I love the most is that Logan is revealed to us, slowly over the Season, just as he is to Veronica.  I think I like that the best.

I'm going to mooch off [info]arabian once again, because I also loved her reason for loving Logan most:
Part of it is the writing, part of it is the acting, part of it is Jason Dohring's charisma; all three combined have created a character that I can't help but love, adore and empathize with.  [...]  He's good, he's bad, he's grey, he's funny, sweet, mean, humble, scared, vulnerable, nasty, loving, loyal and a million other things all rolled into one.  So many layers, so much depth, so much of everything.  I just love this character so much.

GAH, right on the money.  LOGAN = ♥, and at this point, there's definitely no changing my mind.

LEAST FAVOURITE CHARACTER:  I have to say, it's Duncan.

Nothing against Teddy Dunn -- though honestly, character opinion aside, he's never struck me as a particularly strong or talented actor, and standing next to Jason, it just becomes more obvious, sadly -- it's more what happened with the writing.  In early S1, Duncan had so much potential, but it just... never went anywhere.  I just... by the end, nothing could endear him to me again; he bores and annoys me more than any other character.

FAVOURITE NON-LOGAN OR VERONICA CHARACTER:  I have to go with Keith on this one.

Wallace is a close runner-up, yeah, but Keith is just... awesome.  He's not perfect, he admits his mistakes, he's an incredibly giving and caring father, he's driven and sympathetic, but still kind of a badass, with that little sheen of ex-Sheriff on him.  It's fun to watch him bond/fight/anything with Veronica, it's fun to watch him try and play cool, it's fun to watch him do his detective work, it's fun to watch him face off with Lamb or interact with Cliff; hell, he's just fun to watch.  Also, Enrico Colantoni plays him better than anyone else could, I think.

FAVOURITE RECURRING HIGH SCHOOLER:  I know not everyone loves her, but I just really like Mac.

I'm not sure what it is about her; maybe it's that she's a bit of a shut-in and a nerd -- I can definitely empathize with that -- or that she has her own brand of snark to match Veronica's, but it's something.  She's just cute, too.  Come on, she's got mad skillz.

FAVOURITE RECURRING ADULT:  OMG, CLIFF.

Oh, God, he makes me laugh so much.  A huge part of it is definitely Daran Norris' awesome voice and delivery, part is just the unapologetic sleaziness of his character, or maybe it's the extremely self-depricating sense of humor, but Cliff is just made of awesome, and any scene with him in it is pure gold.

LEAST FAVOURITE RECURRING HIGH SCHOOLER:  I think I have to go with Madison.  She's just... a bitch, and I don't really need the reminder for how many girls there are out there just like her, taking up precious air space.  Sure, she has a point every now and then -- mainly to randomly sabotage elections and spit in drinks at parties, it would seem -- but on the whole, she just annoys the hell out of me.  Yes, I realize that's the point of her character, but that doesn't mean I have to appreciate her at all, lol.

LEAST FAVOURITE RECURRING ADULT:  Hmm... there would be a lot more choices for this slot for me if we were talking about S2, but since we're sticking to S1, I have to go with Lianne, with Celeste as a close runner-up.

I don't like Lamb at all, though he can be entertaining at times, so that puts him a few steps above the mothers Kane and Mars.  Lianne just... is a coward and alcoholic who clearly doesn't put her daughter first in the slightest regard, or she wouldn't've stolen two college degrees away from her so quickly and easily.  If she's feeling any guilt over that, well, we never saw it, and I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't (we never saw any signs of feeling she was in the wrong when she briefly came home, so why now?)  Yeah, most of the time, I just kind of want to stab her.

BEST PARENT:  Um, DUH.  That would be Keith, no contest.

Seriously, is there any other answer to this question?  I can't think of anyone else who can even come close.  He knows Veronica's flaws, but he loves her anyway, even when he feels the need to call her on them.  He looks out for her no matter what, and even works his personal relationships around her comfort level which, wow.  That's definitely not something every parent would do.  He's just the best TV Dad ever, and there will be no arguing with that.

WORST PARENT:  Aaron.  Again, no contest here.

You beat your son, constantly belittle and cheat on your wife and eventually drive her to suicide, not to mention sleep with and murder your only son's girlfriend, and then try and murder his current one and her father?  Where do we put your trophy?  Funny thing is, there's something about Harry Hamlin's portrayal of him -- which rocks, by the way, what a casting job they did on him! -- that kind of makes him seem okay at times, which makes his eventual reveal as the murderer all that more creepy.  Awesome.  He was a great villain, but yeah, he was just a plain terrible father.

LOGAN/VERONICA.

FAVOURITE L/V SCENE:  As;lghslkghklsgsk, I don't know!  If you held a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I'd have to say...  The scene in Veronica's living room in A Trip to the Dentist (1x21).

"I'm just really glad you're here."

Yeah, I realize it's a fairly short scene, and there is no making out in it (shock!), but I dunno... something about it just gets me.  I don't know if it's Logan dipping his head down to meet Veronica's eyes while she's talking, or the gentle voice he uses when speaking to her, or Veronica's heartfelt apology (god, how rare are those? *sigh*), or what, but I just love this scene.  More than anything though, I think it's the sheer honesty of the whole thing, and how softly Logan handles her throughout -- gently taking her hands in her lap, telling her she doesn't have to confide in him if she isn't comfortable doing so -- knowing how difficult it is for her to open up, let alone talk about her experience.  I just love it.

FAVOURITE MOMENT:  I love when Logan first comes to Veronica asking her to help him find his mother in the beginning of Mars vs. Mars (1x14).

"I just... need to know... she's okay."

It's the real beginning of a relationship between them that isn't based on resentment and antagonism, and it's a really big leap of faith on Logan's part.  As usual, he's more trusting of her than the other way around, and it's funny how that shapes the entire relationship, isn't it?  And by "funny," of course, I mean, "depressing as all hell."  But we're not here to mope, we're here to wallow in The Pretty That Was, so, moving on.

I love how Logan is so uncertain, entering her apartment (likely for the first time), hugging his jacket to himself, fiddling with his mother's lighter... he's just so lost, and he's choosing to turn to Veronica for help.  Veronica, for her part, when she could be very cold and standoffish toward him (2x07, anyone?), handles him pretty gently, and offers to help.  I just love that beginning they have.
(Aesthetic Note:  The colors in the Mars kitchen in this scene are fucking gorgeous.)

MOST ROMANTIC MOMENT:  I admit, I'm stealing from [info]arabian's list again, but I can't help it!  She had good choices.  Meaning, I'm going to have to pick Logan asking Veronica out on a date at the end of M.A.D. (1x20).

"You free Friday?  Maybe we could go out."

I love them sitting together on the hood of the LeBaron, sniping back and forth good naturedly for a few minutes, before Logan simply asks her out.  It's just really sweet, and cute, and Veronica's flustered and obviously, outwardly happy about it, and Logan's all excited about it too (almost shy, like they're 13 or something, which, awww), and it's just really, really sweet.  Yeah, I'm gushing, I know.  (ALBACORE CLUB, SLIP FIVE!  COME ON!  Also, he totally winks at her as he leaves, which is such a Logan thing to do.)

MOST UNEXPECTED ROMANTIC MOMENT:  Stealing from [info]arabian's list again (I can't help it, okay?), I have to go with Logan offering his hand to Veronica in front of all the 09ers in A Trip to the Dentist (1x21).

"You have a problem with Veronica, you leave.  Actually, you have a problem with Veronica, you're pretty much dead to me so, just... evaporate or something, I dunno."

It's a pretty big thing, obviously.  Plus, I get the feeling, from how skittish she looks in the beginning, that Veronica was expecting Logan to do anything but stand up for her in front of everyone.  Instead though, he takes her hand without even hesitating, and defends her without a second thought.  I really, really love Logan for that, by the way.  It's just a great scene, and I love it.

MOST INTENSE MOMENT:  This was another hard choice, but I had to go with Logan's breakdown in the hotel in Ruskie Business (1x15).

"She's gone."

God, this scene just kills.  First, you get Logan coming over to the counter, hopefully calling "Mom?" with this little smile on his face, and GAH, when you know what's coming, that just... really hurts.  And then, the entire time Logan's sniping with the wonderful, waspish Trina (and by "wonderful" of course, I mean "devil's spawn"), you can tell he's just barely holding himself together, and he even has tears in his eyes as he's arguing with her.  (Also, fandom opinion seems pretty split on this issue, but I have to say that I'm in the camp that thinks Veronica hadn't found out about Logan's abuse until Trina's little remark.  I dunno, the look on her face suggests a lot of shock to me.)  Then Veronica steps in, clearly aware of how hard a time Logan's having, to save him from his bitch of a sister.  And then he starts crying on her, and I have nothing else to say, because I just... love this scene, no matter how painful it is to watch.  GAH.

SADDEST MOMENT:  I can't think of anything worse than Veronica accusing Logan of raping her in A Trip to the Dentist (1x21).  ...Ouch.

"So what, I should come back when, never?  Would that work for you?"

Ugh, it's always hard, remembering the things Veronica has put Logan through, even in the short span of their S1 relationship.  Still, he puts up with all her shit, 'cause he loves her.  Doesn't make it any easier to watch, though.  I love the entire scene at the doorway though, no matter how much it hurts; Logan is just so desperate to make things right, false accusations and all.  He looks so crushed when she accuses him, too, it's just a complete "OW, KNIFE IN SIDE.  THANKS" moment.

RUNNER-UP:  Logan waiting for Veronica on the boat at the end of M.A.D. (1x20).

Ouch.  It's just a huge bummer.  Worst part is, it's clear Logan's been there for a while, since Veronica was supposed to meet him in the morning, and it's obviously afternoon at this point.  UGH.

SEXIEST MOMENT:  Okay, yay, happier category!  It's probably everyone's choice, but the makeout in the girl's bathroom from M.A.D. (1x20) is just one of the best things ever.

"What?  I blockaded the door; I hung an Out of Order sign!"

It's just... GUH.  Logan spins her around (the start of one of my favourite habits!), lifts her up and puts her on the counter, she's got her legs around his waist, and he's kissing her neck, she's making those little gasping noises...  It's just hot.  I'd write more, but I'd start rambling incoherently, most likely, so I'll just stop there.
(Aesthetic Note:  If it were physically possible, I would totally have sex with the COLORS in this scene.  PRETTIEST.  SCENE.  EVER.  GUH.)

RUNNER-UP:  The makeout in the poolhouse at the end of A Trip to the Dentist (1x21) is really hot, too.

"What're you doing?"
"You're too short; I need to level the playing field."

I love the playfulness of the scene, them sitting with their NOSES TOUCHING (I'm sorry, but I don't think there's a cuter cap than that out in existence), how he's got his big hands all over her, I dunno.  It's just hot.  Also, it turns into a pretty serious scene, but still very sexy, so it totally qualifies.  Because I say so.

MOST PLAYFUL MOMENT:  The little exchange outside the car after Veronica drops Logan and Luke off from Mexico in You Think You Know Somebody (1x05).

"This mean you're gonna play nice now?"
"Walk in front of the car, we'll see."

Oh God, this slays me every time.  I loved it before I ever shipped them, and I love it even more now.  She revs the engine, he smacks his jacket on the hood of her car, there is eyesex all over the place, and it's hysterical and cute, and I love it.  HEE.  Too cute.

RUNNER-UP #1:  First instance of sharing weapons (whee, pocketknife!), from the cold open of M.A.D. (1x20)!

The looks they keep shooting each other (not to mention Logan is not-so-subtely staring at Veronica the entire time she's messing with her engine) are just cute and sexy at the same time, all trying to be covert and failing miserably.  Luckily, Dick and Beaver aren't the brightest bulbs in the box, so we get to enjoy this little scene without them noticing anything.  Also, Logan's eating an apple in this scene, which automatically makes it even better.

RUNNER-UP #2:  (It's not my fault they have all this preexisting foreplay, okay?)  The arm punching in the limo flashback from The Wrath of Con (1x04).

"I was twelve when you moved here!"
"What, like you weren't working it in your little shorts and knee socks..."
"That was my
soccer uniform!"
"So, it totally worked!"

I love any kind of implication that Logan had a thing for Veronica at any point pre-series, and this is my favourite.  It's just so cuteRunner-Up #3 goes to another flashback from the same episode, when they're waiting for Lilly to come out for Homecoming, and Veronica's taping Logan posing against the column in the Kane house.  I didn't notice it at first, but now that I have, it's so funny and adorable.  (When looking at the picture, try and ignore Duncan and Celeste -- I know, sorry -- and look at them messing around in the background.  Hee!)

MOST HOPEFUL MOMENT:  I know it's brief, but when Logan rubs Veronica's arm and thanks her for helping him out in Ruskie Business (1x15), it just kind of gets to me.

"Thanks, for helping out with this."
"I know what it's like."

I always like that he doesn't just pat her on the arm; he sort of grips her arm and rubs it a little, almost like you would do to someone if you wanted to comfort them.  I've also always liked how they're almost separate in the middle of a crowd of other students as it happens.  I think this is where the sparks really start showing, albeit very subtlely at first.

BEST KISS:  Um, the "moving on" kiss from Hot Dogs (1x19), absolutely no contest.

"It's okay.  No, I dunno, now I don't have to feel guilty anymore."
"Feel guilty about what?"
"Moving on."

GUHHHH BEST KISS EVER.  You can't pick one because it's the hottest (let's face it, they're all hot), this one means the most, I think.  Logan's finally moving on from Lilly, he's acknowledging that he's serious about his feelings for Veronica, and it's just such a passionate, meaningful kiss, and I love it, poor lighting and all.  Also, he laughs into her mouth at the end, and I kind of die a little.  That, and there's lots of forehead touching.  Squee!

RUNNER-UP:  Um... all the rest of them, ever?

Seriously, don't make me pick again.  The first choice was easy, but picking another would be way too hard.

FAVOURITE LINE: (Logan)  "Look, I just don’t… have time to be responsible for every little thing that goes wrong in your life." -- Return of the Kane (1x06)

I'm not sure why; maybe because it's a joke that turns out to not be very funny by the end of the season (woe), or just because he's calling her on having made him her personal scapegoat, or the little punch he gives her arm as he walks away, but I just love that line.  Also, I'm thanking God right now that this wasn't "Favourite Logan Line" (in general), because there's no way in hell I'd be able to pick.  Probably the Pop Tart one, now that I think about it.  That one kills me every damn time.

FAVOURITE LINE: (Veronica)  "Look at you, all helpful." -- An Echolls Family Christmas (1x10)

I'm not sure what it is about this one, either.  Is it because it's the lead in for the fan favourite, "Annoy, tiny blonde one"?  I dunno, I like the little smile she gives him, like, "Aww, Logan's not being a jackass.  Perhaps I should play the Lotto today..."  I dunno, it's just cute. *shrug*

MOST ROMANTIC LINE: (Logan)  "I can't take that I hurt you like that.  I can't take that I hurt you, when I all I want to do is protect you." -- A Trip to the Dentist (1x21)

Aww, Logan, your boyish protective streak for Veronica is showing.  Which I love.  It's such a heartfelt apology, and it really makes that whole scene in the poolhouse for me, when he says that to her.  So sweet.

MOST ROMANTIC LINE: (Veronica)  "Good luck in Physics.  Remember, force equals mass times acceleration…  Light is a particle that can exhibit properties of a wave…" -- M.A.D. (1x20)

Hee, such a classic exchange.  She's kind of half-breathing the words into his mouth (which is hot) between kisses, and he's probably completely ignoring her, or at least not really paying attention.  Plus, she has a hold on him by the shirt collar, and keeps pulling him closer, and I just really, really love that little conversation by the door.

MOST ANGSTY LINE: (Logan)  "'Logan, I'm gonna go home, and put my head in the oven, because I can't go on living knowing what a heartless bitch I am!'  Something like that!" -- Leave it to Beaver (1x22)

AUGH, that one always hurts.  All I can ever think during the scene at the beach is "Oh, Logan."  It's no surprise he ends up dancing along the guardrail of the Coronado Bridge, after a day like the one he's had.  I just want to give him the biggest hug here.

MOST ANGSTY LINE: (Veronica)  "I'm going to find out who did this to me, and I'm going to make them pay.  Even if it was you." -- A Trip to the Dentist (1x21)

This one's killer too, just because it clearly pains Veronica to think that Logan could have done it.  Even though we're all sitting there screaming "NO WAY IN HELL, AUGH!"  But still, that's one of the worst scenes for them, so that was a pretty obvious choice.

BEST LOOK EXCHANGED OVERALL: (Logan)  The look he gives Veronica in the Mars Investigations office in Hot Dogs (1x19).

It's after the first kiss, and they've been awkward around each other all episode, but in an adorable way, and then Logan comes to Veronica to ask her to help him find Trina's idiot boyfriend, and she does so without even hestitating.  She's working her P.I. magic, and he just watches her with this adoring smile on his face, and I kind of melt into a giant puddle of squee.

BEST LOOK EXCHANGED OVERALL: (Veronica)  The look she gives Logan as they speak for the first time after the kiss at the Camelot, in the cold open of Hot Dogs (1x19).

I think the reason I love this look she gives him so much is because... it looks like she's just about to maybe discuss something of substance -- or at the very least, she's trying to convey the "how about we make out some more?" sentiment with just her eyes, lol -- and then, just as Logan predicts, the bell rings.  Aww.  It's a very loaded look, and I like it.

Holy crap, that took forever.  I BLAME YOU, [info]arabian!  *shakes fist at sky*  Just kidding. ;)

Believe it or not, I am working on both the b-day fic I've promised afrocurlRoz and br3akableSteph, and my [info]vm_santa assignment.  Still suffering from severe writer's block though, so this was a fun and welcome distraction. *sigh*

I had work all day yesterday (literally all day, as in 10-9), and all day today (as in 11-7), and I have to work tomorrow, too, from 10-4 (which is stupid, since it's New Year's Day, and who the fuck goes SHOE SHOPPING on a holiday?  I work for morons.), so I'm quite tired.  Luckily, it is a holiday, which means I've got a Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-Fi, Seinfeld on TBS, and Pulp Fiction as well, to curl up and relax with tonight.  Huzzah!

So, that was fun.  And to everyone on my flist, I wish you a very Happy New Year!  I hope everyone has a great start to the new year!  I look forward to getting to know all of you in the months to come.

Much love! ♥
