Part 1: The Basics 1. What is your full name? Lindsay Natalie Browne 2. Where and when were you born? Sacramento, CA - March 14, 1987 3. Who are your parents? Fredrick and Julianne Browne 4. Do you have any siblings? What are they like? I'm an only child. 5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. Right now, I'm spending the summer at a beach house in Santa Cruz with my cousin Mindy. Santa Cruz has a lot of sun and beach and really good looking surfers. 6. What is your occupation? Student/Actress 7. Write a full physical description of yourself. Some people say I talk on the phone too much, but I don't really think that's that annoying. And now it's illegal to talk on the phone while you're driving here in California, which is crazy. Texting while you're driving is way harder. Yes, I'm kidding. Part 2: Growing Up 15. How would you describe your childhood in general? Happy 16. What is your earliest memory? Dancing at a Christmas party with my dad when I was four 17. How much schooling have you had? God, fourteen years so far. 18. Did you enjoy school? I loved school. It was so much fun. 19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? It depends on what you mean. The editors of Marie Claire, Cosmo and People have taught me many, many important life lessons. 20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Julia Roberts. She's so gorgeous, but really down to earth and vulnerable at the same time. When you watch her in a movie you never feel like you're watching someone who is acting. 21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? My dad and I have always been really close. My mom and I hit a rocky patch when I was in high school, but we get along well enough now. As long as we've got hundreds and hundreds of miles between us. 22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Actress, singer, dancer 23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? Pretending, singing, dancing, playing dress up 24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? A flair for the dramatic, a need for perfection 25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I wasn't really popular until fifth grade when I started spending more time with Rebecca and Britney. They were really sweet until we got to eighth grade and then we all sort of went our separate ways. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Stepping on stage for the first time. 30. Who has had the most influence on you? My dad. 31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Getting the part of Eliza Doolittle last year. 32. What is your greatest regret? Bangs in tenth grade. 33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? I don’t know if I've ever done anything really evil. I got accused of stealing a boyfriend once, but boyfriend still seemed to be stretching it at the time. 34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? No. 35. When was the time you were the most frightened? The first time I flew, there was really bad turbulence. 36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? I wore the same costume as two other girls to a Halloween party once. 37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? Bangs, tenth grade. They weren't nearly as cute as I thought they were. I wince every time I look at my yearbook. 38. What is your best memory? Going to LA with Jason after graduation. 39. What is your worst memory? Being told by a casting director that I was too fat for a part. Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions 40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? Optimistic 41. What is your greatest fear? Not becoming famous, or becoming famous for something stupid. 42. What are your religious views? Protestant, but I don't practice. 43. What are your political views? I don't trust politicians, they always seem like they're playing the devil's advocate. I'm not sure if my views line up with one side or the other. I think that people should be able to live their lives in whatever way makes them happy, as long as it's not harming someone else. 44. What are your views on sex? It's natural and should be talked about openly. Well, unless it's some freaky stuff. Some of that should not be talked about. 45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I don't think I could ever kill anyone. Maybe if they were trying to kill me. 46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Intentionally make someone else feel like shit. 47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? I used to, but now I'm not so sure. 48. What do you believe makes a successful life? Being remembered for something substantial when you're gone. 49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I don't go around shouting my thoughts at other people, but I think I'm my true self around my friends. There are some things I keep to myself until I'm ready to share. 50. Porn, because it's disgusting and it doesn't get you anywhere as an actress. 52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? Jason Part 5: Relationships With Others 53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? I try to be polite to everyone, but sometimes they see me and judge me right away which makes it much harder. The better I know people the more open I am with them. 54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? Jason, he's my best friend. 55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? Again, Jason. Coming out wasn't easy for him, but I respect the fact that he didn't want to go his entire life living a lie. 56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. I mostly hang out with the Kappa Kappa girls. Preeti is my best friend at Whitman, we were instantly drawn towards one another because we're so alike. I spend a lot of time with Rusty too, he always knows how to make me laugh. When things get too crazy at school they're the two people I lean on the most. Jason's my best friend but he's off at Berkley 80% of the time, but we talk on the phone at least once a week and meet up for all the major holidays. He probably knows me the best out of anyone. 57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Still looking. 58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. Yes. It was too hard trying to make it work long distance, also it turns out he's gay. 59. What do you look for in a potential lover? Nice smile, straight teeth, nice eyes, good conversation, and lots of fun. 60. How close are you to your family? We can go a couple of weeks without talking, but when we do connect it's always right where we left off. I don't think we're super tight knit, but we're close. 61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? No. I don't want to right now. I want to pursue a career in acting. Kids and a family can come later. 62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? Preeti, Rusty, Jason 63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? Same, because they love me. And I'd do the same for them. 64. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? I don't like to argue, but I will if I have to. 67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? Not too often. I don't like having that pressure. 68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? I like smaller groups better, it's easier to be seen as an individual. 69. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? This summer it involves sleeping in late, heading to the beach around three, barbequing or going out to dinner, having some drinks at a bar or heading to a party, spending the night dancing, talking and meeting new people and then falling into bed around seven am. I've gained five lbs, but I'm having so much fun. I'm trying to unwind before school starts up again and I have to get serious. 85. What is your greatest strength as a person? My ability to empathize. 86. What is your greatest weakness? Sometimes I'm not as confident as I'd like to be 87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
