With both sadness for the loss and gratitude for the long time that we had together, Nina and I would like all of our friends to know that my father, Myron Edward White, passed away peacefully, early this morning. He was 88 years old, and had been married to my mother for 60 years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 11 AM, at Temple Emeth, 1666 Windsor Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.

Dad served our country during World War Two and the Korean War, taught mathematics and computer science to several generations of engineering students, and managed to raise four kids on a professor's salary. A lifelong vocalist, he also was active in his community in both educational and musical matters. But first and foremost, he was a clear, strong and steady moral and ethical guide to his own kids, and his students, too.
