Sick
I have been like blahbarfsick for the past 4 days now. Still blahbarfsick. And the worst pasrt is I have to work through it. I took A day off at Burger King and they got all pissed off-- but whatever I don't really mind. I NEED the money. Our money situation right now=sucks. But we're never afraid to take out loans or anything we just don't -want- to if we don't have to.

I went to the doctors at 8 o clock this morning FINALLY after dealing with my urinary Tract infection for over a month now. I just couldn't stand the pain any longer, that and I didn't want it to get worse. So I went to the Urgent Care, WITHOUT medical insurance. And got a urine test. A $98 urine test. And in the end the doctor was like "Jesus christ you've had it for over  a month now?" and then proceeded to tell me that my infection was one of the most MINOR infections she's seen in a long time. wtf.

So she sent me on my way with some antibiotics that she almost PROMISED would make me even more sick. okay so, great. Here I am, sick as hell and she sends me home with some drugs that are going to make me even MORE sick. She told me I could tone down the pills effects by eating and drinking a whole lot.

OH WELL WOMEN THAT IS JUST WONDERFUL FOR MY DIET.


SPORE
Despite my financial problems. I bought Spore. Kristi, Bob and I went to wal-mart at 3 in the morning, and bought Spore. It was good. Spore is good-- despite some little quirks in it I wasn't too thrilled about. I'd like it a whole lot more if there was more points to earn in the creature level and civilization level. more evolution wise--- mostly it's all just social interaction. but thats what i always liked about the older versions of Civilization, was the awesometastic choices to learn and grow and build. I generally enjoy all of Maxis's god games. I'm still not sure, if to me, this one measures up with the Sims. Though I will admit, creating a creature is darned fun.

Don't get me wrong though, blake claims its one of the best games he's ever played. He loves it. But I think part of that is because he's an uber Science fiction nerd and well--- I'm not. I like being god-- forever. Spore the God Gameness wears off after the creature stage, and following that you go through these extremely SIMPLE tasks in the tribe, civilization and Space stages. No more god gameness. Though, I think once I get my work caught up I'll be plugging in The Sims again. Playing a Maxis games made me miss it's fun stupidity of nothingness.


Things from now and then last week that I need to remember:
-When Kristi and I ran through Tim Horton's sprinklers at 4 in the morning.
-Finding out that I hit my 25lb lost mark was the best feeling in the world
-That baby snapping turtle Bob and I found outside in the yard
-The dog that I'm training (Mina) is currently the best in her class.
-Mr Diddles does not like to eat hard cat food, but we make her eat it anyhow.
-I ate 2 double cheeseburgers and a mcchicken sandwich at 2 ni the morning; all of which ade me deathly ill.


Art Updates
Not too many of these... my illness has brought me down. Luckily though, I'll be getting a three day weekend starting tomorrow, and I just might work on some stuff today before I head on over to burger king.
