Rules are subject to change under MOD consent. You must follow ALL rules at all times, or the MOD reserves the right to remove you from the RPG.



01. TO JOIN: Each character needs their own AIM screename and Livejournal account. Please make sure that the Livejournal account belongs to only one RPG community, and that there is a disclaimer in the userinfo. Please do not change the age of your character in the application. This is not an AU community; we want you to play your character as realistic as possible. Lastly, no OMC’s, females, or heterosexuals. They won’t fit in.

02. STORYBOOK ROLEPLAYING ONLY. If you are incapable of basic grammar and punctuation skills, you will not be accepted. End of story. And please for the love of God, DO NOT play your character like a horny, emo teenager! Chances are no one will want to play with you.

03. Here at Lover's Tiff, we abide by the don't ask, don't tell rule when it comes to your age. We do not require you to be a certain age to join, but please keep in mind that this is a NC-17 RPG, and that mature issues are usually part of the game. Therefore, please do not announce your age to your fellow RPers unless they ask you. This is to ensure that all of our roleplayers are comfortable. If you feel that you cannot deal with the issues that may be presented in this game, then this isn’t the community for you. Your application is your contract, so by submitting it to us, you consent to this rule.

04. When talking out of character, please use some form of brackets. [ ], ( ), and so on. Do not use //, ++, etc, because most people won’t understand you.

05. Character journals must be updated twice a month. At the end of each month, if you have not updated twice, the MOD reserves the right to remove you from the RPG without notice. If an OOC situation happens, please post a message in your livejournal and/or alert a MOD so that you do not get cut. ALL JOURNAL ENTRIES MUST BE FRIENDS ONLY.

06. There will be no roleplaying allowed while ghosting and/or away. Moreover, select roleplaying or favoritism is not permitted. If you are caught doing either one of these things, you will be removed from the RPG immediately, no questions asked. If you understand this, please put "Burn Your Friends" in the subject line of your application.

07. You can play up to 4 characters as long as you play them equally. You will be forced to remove inactive characters if you do not comply with this rule. With this said, NO KILLING OFF YOUR CHARACTER. What’s the point in joining if you’re just going to kill them off?

08. Please keep in mind that with storylines, comes in-character DRAMA. If you are not equipped to handle drama that your character might encounter, please do not join the community. OOC drama, however, will not be tolerated, and you will be removed from the community immediately if it happens.

09. Incest, marriage and adoption are allowed. For now, adoption is unmoderated. However, if it is taken advantage of, this rule will change. PLEASE only adopt children if you are going to roleplay that child. Children are characters in the community and need to be played, not neglected. The max amount of children for any character is 4.

10. We will have weekly secrets in the community, along with awards for you to participate in. Also, every once in a while, we will have in-character chatrooms where all characters can get to know one another. Please take part in these, because they are important and can be fun!
