Men: Surprising you since the dawn of time.

/>Last night I had this big romantic evening planned. It was so nice. Mr. Moonbeam was the old silver-tongued devil I remember from so long ago, and this is of the good because frankly I like being shamelessly flattered (I = vain).

And he adhered to his old habit of surprising insights at odd times. We were listening to Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters, which is possibly the greatest concept album EVAR, and when Hero With A Wing came on, he told me, "This is how I see your Soren," referring to one of my original scifi characters whom I love shamelessly. Little did he know that this is Soren's defining song. Stuff like that all night, and we stayed up way too late and drank too much mead. LOL. I'm so tired this morning but I'm glad.

Oh, and earlier in the evening, I was holding Buddy and petting him, and the chair moved and MISTER HIGH STRUNG KITTEH freaked right the fuck out and ripped the hell out of my right wrist and gave me a puncture and a big fat bruise on my knuckle. >:( I don't know what makes that cat so jumpy but DAMN my hand is hurting this morning.

Also, I made a London Broil last night and it was super yummy. NOM NOM NOM. I've never made it before but I can tell you I'll be making it again.

And now I have to go to work, blah. And I need coffee, OMG.
