Demelza’s generally thought of as a kind soul, innately, in spite of her predilection for blonde moments and her almost uncontrollable tendency to rant. She’s an engaging and sociable creating who is inquisitive about people and their affairs – but never so much as to deliberately want to hurt them via malicious means, and would be disgusted at herself should this ever occur, even accidentally.

Quirky and quixotic are two of her particular traits. She retains, however, an acerbic side that has attached itself to her as a result of having lived through a war, and most significantly – under the reign of the Carrows. She would like to shed this if she can.

On the other hand, Demelza is never one to manipulate or use people. She loathes the thought of hurting anyone, but to her misfortune – this fear and her readily trusting nature, she is liable to be led into relationships that may not exactly be healthy or right for her.

She speaks candidly about matters that she feels strongly about – although she possesses tact enough to hold back if she can see it will hurt someone unnecessarily. However, should anyone prove to be especially caustic to her, she is prone to react emotionally – either with shouting or tears, or both. It depends on the person, really.

She’s a resilient creature, whose trusting nature and warmth gravitates people to her. She’s also a very loyal friend and places the value of her friendships above most other things in life, however, her ideals and her loyalty to that may outweigh – again, depending upon the person.
