- Work goes. There's a lot of drama going on right now that I am staying out of because I am a total peon and sort of fine with that.

- One of the things about having this job (which I've had for possibly longer than I had my last job! Also, only job!) is that it sort of brings me face to face with the possibilities of my own lack of ambition. That is, I don't lack ambition in the slightest but I am forced to confront what my life would be like if I did!

- My friend Angyl (who recently moved to Seattle, lucky gal) had a totally awesome dream about me a while ago that I'm just gonna link for everyone who doesn't read her LJ.

- I haven't been down to Palo Alto in forever and I'm hoping to remedy that (I won't be there for Thanksgiving so don't ask). Mostly the reason I haven't been is because I tend to work weekends and Jon tends to work weekdays so it hasn't worked out. I still think of you guys, though!

- I had an idea for a piece of fanfiction (actually, a long running idea for a piece of fanfiction) that is completely crazy and might almost qualify as simply "fiction" since I'm not actually using any existing characters or an existing world unless you count the world we LIVE in as one in which case basically everything is fanfiction so shut the hell up.

- Me and Jon have been watching Angel: The Series! We actually own the ENTIRE SERIES (which kind of amazes me just because like, the box is so tiny but that's 5 seasons of hour long television WTF) and um, you guys.

David Boreanaz is really hot. Like, really, really, really hot. Like, he's so awkward sometimes and just very silly other times and it's like I just find him incredibly entertaining to watch and AAAHHHHH HE'S SO CUTE AAAHHHHHHH

And Angel is kind of gay! Like, okay setting aside the various comments that Joss Whedon has made regarding Angel's long period of vampirism and whatever sexual hijinks may have occurred during those times that are intriguing but total fanservice?

Episode two, Angel is investigating in a single's bar and is addressing some guy that is walking away: "Seriously, I wasn't hitting on you."

I just think that's hilarious.

Also, the Buffy comic? Continues to rock. The latest one was seriously, seriously awesome.
