A lot has happened ever since my previous post. For starters, I am now part of the Structure and Dynamics Group, a research group that's dedicated to the simulations of solid-state mechanisms, cellular automata in biology and quantum computing. I've been learning FORTRAN 70 since then, but as far as I know, FORTRAN 90 is the norm. Though it may be an old computer language, it is undoubtedly the language of modern physics computing.
To my surprise, I'm just one book a way from being up-to-date with Del Rey's release of Ken Akamatsu's greatest work (well, for me that is.) As seen in the picture, I already have 18 volumes. I might buy the 19th volume this weekend, but the 20th volume will be released sometime December.
I've been watching a lot of anime recently, to the point I can consider myself an otaku. My friends are otakus, and you are your friends, right? Lately I've only been interested in animes airing this season in Japan (とらドラ toradora ! and アカネー色に染まる坂 akane-iro ni somaru saka) but I'll probably get into 尺がんの遮那shakugan no shana and higurashi. Of course, as of the moment, I do have all the episodes (hmm.. maybe not all) for 瀬戸の花嫁 seto no hanayome.
As for the games I've been playing, losing ragnarok playtime thanks to PLDT's DSL service (PLDT = BOO!), I got myself into browser games--Travian and Tales of Magic. Hehe.. I guess that's one hell of a good way to spend free time on the internet. Below are my referral links, if ever you're interested.

And I guess that's about it for now..
