Latest artworkz n' stuff to share-

This is a teddy bear I made in 3D Modeling class. Sure,it's way out of my character to do something like this, but it waz all part of the assignment,so here it be. Sure it looks all sweet n' cuddly on the outside, but on the inside it actually contains the evil essence of a Lovecraftian' creature. Beware!

Theze are a pair of $125 Oakley sunglasses given to a few of us at the school to decorate and mutilate az we please for a design contest. It's hard to tell from theze pix,but I painted mine up in purple and green, based them after the Martian spaceships in the 1953 "War of the Worlds",clipped a booklight to it and there ya go. Nothing too great, but it was fun messin' up a pair of expensive sunglasses that only douchbagz would pay for. Take that, trendies!

Another anatomy study for ,what else-anatomy class! Who knew there waz so many stringy gooey musclestuff in yer face!

More life drawing sketches from a session last week. The model waz super muscular and great for barbarian poses. Notice the lack of detail on his manparts. Probably should of fixed that before posting it. His nuts n' noodles are looking kinda squishy, like those squeeze toys with the goop inside ya can get at the dollar store. Which, when ya think about it, it ain't all that far from the junk in da trunks to begin with.
I've been looking at nudie pix all day trying to find a good one for one of our assignments where we have to draw a full head to toe piece. The one thing I've noticed about most of the nude pix of people is that they're all way too lit,way to much light and not enopugh juicy shadows to enhance the human figure, that and they alwayz cut 'em off just above the knee.
I wish I had the money to actually hire my own models, but I don't. Plus I really don't know how the wifey would feel about nekkid peeple standing around in the living room. Heck, she'd probably just ignore it and go play video games, as she just acquired a Playstation 3 and she'z had her eyeballs glued to that.
I need to get to more of the life drawing sessions at the school more often, but between work, school and homework it's really hard to squeeze it in my schedules.
Or maybe, if I gathered up parts of people and stitched them together I could create my own unique life drawing model! Like the chick in the movie "May" except I wouldn't make out with it or nuthin',just pose it in all kinds of fun wayz fer sketchin'! Now that's an idea for a movie-a starving artist that collects body parts for sketchin'. Would it still be called LIFE Drawing then? Or Still Life without the fruitbowls and flowers.

Speaking of putting together various body parts-

This a sketch of my version of The Frankenstein Monster that I'm trying to work out in my noggin'. I want to do a whole series of him, basically inspired by the song "Frankenstein" by Chan Poling, where I want to take various lyrics from the song and compose a painting around that lyric. This is just a concept sketch of my monster. I want to keep the Boris Karloff face(cuz his eyes are just so damn full of pathos),the basic look of the Universal Monster, but add batteries, wires and tubes to him. I really liked how this came out. More to come!

That's it fer now-back to scrolling thru hundreds of nudie pix and git my drawings done!
Spankin'!
