Friday night, as you know I ventured forth to King's Club to shoot photos with my new camera toy. Happy to report The Motor Primitives pictures turned out amazing! Ran into the owner from Maximum Ink, so their band pics may be published there.  Brings back my club-photo days shooting for The Shepherd Express: The Scene; as one of the original brainstormers for that page I'm happy to see it gained momentum through the years. Back then I was taking pics with a P&S camera, relying heavily on the expertise of photo editing guru crysodenkirk. I feel pretty fortunate that the technology for SLR digitals has made these cameras more accessible--in market and in price; what a difference a good camera can make.

Here's a picture of the keyboardist really getting into his music; he's a friend of mine from work. I'm really excited about the quality; now I can take some awesome pics of Cruciform Injection at their GenCon show without worrying about quality.
