Point of View: 3rd person

Disclaimer: I do not owe anyone.
Author's Notes: Uh well, I kinda just came up with this after spending the whole night camping out in my backyard. We saw like 12 shooting stars. It was really cool. Also since I'm experimenting with diffrent kinds of outcomes and whatnot, imput and suggestions are much appreciated. <33
Beta: None for this one.

It was the first night sky Brendon had seen in a long time. In the city of Vegas, it was never dark. Half the time you couldn't tell day from night. Everything was so loud and alive. The noise. The lights. Everything. It drove him insane.

Out here he could relax and just be. Nothing had to matter. The cares of the world ceased to exist. Everything was so at peace. Laying out on the roof of his car. The wind softly howling. The moon casting a faint glow over the landscape. The city glowing brightly off in the distance. He would always get away when he got the chance to.

Starring up at the millions of stars scattered all across the darkness, he took a deep breath and began aimlessly searching for the various constellation. Then as he traced one in his head, he saw a shooting star. Smiling to himself, he closed his eyes tight.

"I wish I could get out of this city."

------------------------

It was the same as everyday. Spencer woke up. Showered. Ate Breakfast. Lounged around. Ate Lunch. Then went to work. Nothing ever changed. It was always the same.

"Can I get a Venti Mocha Latte?" Even the people and the order were the same. It was driving him nuts.

"Yeah. Of course." He didn't even bother asking for a name. He knew it already and wrote it on the side of the cup before handing it over to the guy behind him making the drinks. The day went by just as slow as every other day.

After his shift ended, he grabbed his coat. "I'll catch you guys later." He called to the people still working and left. Walking back to his car, he fumbled around with his keys and got the door unlocked. Before climbing in, he looked up at the moon casting a glow over the parking lot. And out of the corner of his eye, he saw a shooting star fly across the sky.

"I wish things would change."

------------------------

"Just get out of here. You're worthless. Nobody wants you. Now leave." Ryan's dad threw him out the door, followed by a couple boxes of his stuff. He grabbed them and began walking away. He hated this father. His house. This town and everything in it. But he had no where else to go.

After a few minutes of walking, he collapsed on the curb and cried. It was final. He couldn't go back and he didn't know where he was going from here. The sun started to sink and the sky exploded with stars. Sniffling he laid back and looked up at the darkness. As he pondered his insignificance in the universe, a shooting star shot past his view. Smiling some, he sighed.

"I wish I had somewhere to go."

-----------------------

"Bartender, h-hit me.... again." Jon pounded the bar and yelled, trying not to fall backwards out of his seat.

"Nah buddy, you've had too much already. I'm cutting you off." The bartender shook his head and took his empty glass before going to serve another costumer.

"Hey... hey y-you can't... cut m-me off." He hiccuped, waving his finger at the bartender who ignored him. "Well then f-f-fuck... y-you." Jon yelled and stood up. Probably a little to quickly since it landed him sprawled on the floor. Some one went to help him up, but he shook them off. "Leave me.. alone." He growled and slowly made it back up to his feet. "What are y-you starring at?" He asked obnoxiously as he headed to the door.

Finally making it out to the sidewalk, he tripped on a crack in the cement that sent him reeling into a parked car. The alarm went off as he pushed himself off and continued towards his apartment. It was quiet a walk, but he was incapable of driving. And even if he wanted to take the risk, he couldn't remember where he parked it. Actually he couldn't remember if he had driven here.

Continuing down the street, everything started to spin. The world became blurry and his body went numb. Taking a couple stumbling steps, he lost his balance and with tumbling to the ground. Groaning and cursing, he rolled onto his back and looked up, waiting for the world to stop spinning. The darkness started to envelop him, but before everything went black, he watched as a shooting star shot across the sky. His eyes fluttered closed and everything went silent.

"I wish I didn't have to live this way."
