... im in love.... with this person's livejournal blog. I was never into the gothic thing but this makes me kind of want to give it a go! of course the bride is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS with a perfect figure, she could probably wear a potato sack to her wedding and make it look good... but ah! So pretty!! I would have gone a little more dark with the flowers, but seriously SUPER pretty!!! http://community...
Me, pre-ceremony: My boss and her daughter during the ring warming (this is one of my favorite photos) During the ceremony: Sealing the deal: Me and my husband (I'm sure at some point I'll be able to type/say that without snickering): The photo booth was popular: exterior of the reception: Origami light decorations worked wonderfully! Some disjointed...
So, I'm six weeks out, and - wait for it! - I have no dress. I had planned to order from CocoMyles.com last month, but money has been SO tight. I finally have money, and I go to order. Well, I'm a size 26 on bottom, and 18 on top, so buying a dress is a nightmare. They say "no problem! We have mix-and-match sizing!" So I tell them the celebrity dress I've been drooling over for MONTHS, only to find...
Small enough that I felt it would fit better over here at the little kid's table. Over in weddingplans , missreagan posts a relatively simple question: Is it considered impolite to include registry information with a wedding invite? Plenty of people weigh in on both sides- it's tacky, it's not tacky, it depends on the region and the size of the wedding, etc. Enter purplelover13...
So according to TheKnot, we have 401 more days to go. I'm not sure if this is a lot of time or no time at all. I have the dress & veil, but need to get alterations and shoes. The site has been booked and we have a pretty sound guest list. I've also started working on STDs, so I'd love input, please! I love the idea of STD magnets, so our idea was to fold a piece of nice paper in half and glue...
Two minor stupids, now with caps. 7toe wants thequestionclub to crop her ex husband out of her photos ( Cap ) TQC acts like TQC. She deletes comments, people tell her not to, and suddenly sarahonlife is a comment nazi. ( Cap ) And a better cap from eleuthreophile In weddingplans , someone posts a ridiculous Cosmo article Article I...
unless I get more votes on how lame it is. http://community.livejournal.com/weddingplans/17375990.html#cutid1 The DJ we have has karaoke equipment which could be fun, but what about just paying rock band for part of the reception? I think that would be awesome but I'm not sure where we'd get one of those projection screens. Just a thought...
I'm having a bit of a panic attack already... 16 months ahead of time, haha. We had looked at the River Crest banquet hall in Rochester. We loved the priced but the more I think about it, the less and less I like the L shaped room with the dance floor hidden around a corner and surrounded by 3 walls. 75% of the room will have to get up and stand around to watch the first dances. I'm not thrilled by...
I finished up the invitations earlier today and when I got home from celebrating Father's Day at Colbys' parent's I printed out the rsvp envelopes and some of the invitations. We're mailing out the majority tomorrow. About 68% will go out, we just need a few more addresses to finish up what we don't have and that's it! Since I goofed up pretty bad & ordered the wrong invitation we'll have to hunt...
youonlysweeter over on weddingplans has a question which does not contain any assumptions or judgments whatsoever! " is it really appropriate to promise to love, cherish, honor, and obey someone for as long as you both shall live if you have already promised the same thing to someone else (and they are, in fact, still living)? this isnt to say that you are still married to that...
