Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment

Just a quick update with some info about some books coming out soon that I'm somehow involved with... I'm ecstatic to be involved with Jamie Smart's Fat Chunk Vol 2 - Zombies . Yes, it's an anthology about zombies, but it's published by Slave Labor Graphics so expect it to be filled with new and exciting, psychotic and maybe hilarious takes on what some people might think is a tiring theme....

Slave Labor Graphics school comic contest

Inspired by my friend Jessi's entry, I decided to enter my own comic into the War at Ellsmere comic contest, and show it on my LJ the way she did. The contest is at http://slg-news.livejournal.com/290874.html Dedicated to the wonderful Olu (the guy hugging me in the comic) for all his help in breaking me out of my shell!

So, this is going to be my bed:  Mandal .  I am looking forward to it.  I will probably also get the low-end fancy foam mattress  because well, I'm cheap fancy. (cheap fancy, alas, does not include the camelhair stuffing that is expensive fancy ) The bookcases will be the standard Billy bookcases in birch or so.  I may not be able to fit the skinny tower in there, but that's okay because it's in...

Die! is now available from SLG Publishing's digital website EYEMELT.COM From slg_news : Still on the road looking for his brother (who knew a two-headed pickled punk in a jar could be so difficult to track down?), Byron meets up with a Bettie Page admirer in a very odd tiki bar. Tenno is masturbating again!

Woooooo! Tenno (the birdie bastard) must be in particularly high spirits. I caught him masturbating out of the corner of my eye. Ever since his wing injury, he had stopped self-pleasuring. And he was a chronic masturbator, too, so I noticed his hiatus. It's always been a measure of his happiness, like a cat licking herself in your presence, it shows trust. So my joy. Wholly unrelated to avian sexual...

This is Karl Christian Krumpolz. He worked at the comic book store many years ago. A funny, dark wiseass who had a lot of potential. Now his star is rising, and he has a new comic out from avant-funsters Slave Labor Graphics. He was well reviewed on "The Onion" print and website, and interviewed very nicely too. It's nice to see a good, talented guy be rewarded for hard work. Check him...

3D Haunted Mansion

slg_news  referenced  this site which mentioned the hardcover of their Disney Haunted Mansion series. This guy does some pretty cool 3D modeling of the various Disney Haunted Mansions.
