Sketchbook time!
Hibiscus Buds Pitt Artist Pens on 8 1/2" x 11" wirebound ProArt sketchbook, from life. Sascha got to go riding this morning on Brownie the Welsh Pony with her mom guiding the pony, so she's all happy and excited. She and Karl brought me a stem of big fat red hibiscus buds with dinnerplate size flowers on the bush. He was hoping I'd do some time-lapse sketching if the bud does open in water. Looks...

Sick day
Sick Day :P Pitt Artist Pen, printer paper I really got sick today, wound up spending a long time in bed, naps, then goofed around online and spent a lot of time reading Mariel of Redwall. Noticed the time, didn't feel like even trying for a cat gesture so decided in the grand tradition of certain online cartoonists to try a Stick Man drawing. I think it's fairly evocative of how I felt today...
