After going to Worldcon earlier this month, I wanted to talk more about Worldcon's future because I think alot about those sort of things. After spending the last couple of weeks on this, redneckotaku.livejournal.com/135982.html is the post I wrote about two major concerns I have about the future of the convention. This is coming from a younger perspective (age 31) who went to his first worldcon...
redneckotaku offers his thoughts on the future of Worldcon from the point of view of a first-time attendee in his early 30s -- thirteen years younger than me, in fact. Comments over there, please.

Secondly: Tag eight people. Who sleeps in bed next to you? anushin and two stuffed animals! What's your all time favourite book? Tough call. Possibly The Pocket Disaster Survival Guide, or maybe The Ethical...
The first two parts of my Worldcon report are now up on my Livejournal. I have some thoughts on the future of Worldcon that I will try to get up and alert people to later this week. The first part is what I experience during the trip: redneckotaku.livejournal.com/134087.html and the second part is my thoughts on the con, the hugos and the business meeting: redneckotaku.livejournal.com/134386...
I got to sleep in this morning because there was no Business Meeting. After breakfast, Lisa and I got into our WSFS uniforms and headed over to the Palais to spend the last few hours of the convention socializing with people. I have to say that I often had difficulty moving more than a few meters before another conversation broke out. We checked to see whether we needed to upgrade our memberships...
After the Opening Ceremonies, I went to the Delta and hit the parties. Wow, it's crowded up there! I hope they get the elevator party hosts in place by tomorrow night. We spent a fair amount of time in the Aberdeen ProvingGround bid for the 2011 Worldcon, in their first and last bid party. Help redneckotaku in his quest to defeat None of the Above! I did a whole lot more, but it's nearly...
The wireless internet signal in the fan tables area at the Santa Clara Hyatt is very weak and intermittent, so I was unable to get online reliably. Blogging this weekend at BayCon may be reduced accordingly. I got down to BayCon around 4 PM, registered at Program Ops without incident, and found the Fan Tables, which are on the second floor of the hotel at the top of the escalators. Sherri Benoun was...
Nathan (Xale_D) wanted to get some updates out there about what has been going on in the few months after the con. First of all, Registration is up and going. Go to our website at http://www.Animeusa.org and hit on the registration button. People frequently ask what makes Anime USA different from other conventions. I have given my thoughts on this and would like you to read this and pass it on...
Hi, first time poster, long time lurker. Apparently Sho is going to the New york Comic con for the world premiere of Yatterman. Found this article on Anime news network, so sorry if this is old news for anyone. "Director Takashi Miike (Crows Zero, Ichi the Killer, The Great Yokai War) and Arashi singer/actor Sho Sakurai (Honey and Clover) will appear at the world premiere of their live-action...
