Monday
It's raining. A lot. And has since about midnight. Was quite a storm at 3:00 a.m. I was up doing laundry. I'd gotten up to "do bidness" and as I was crawling back in bed, big lightning hit. Dogs and lolcat went nine ways from Sunday and I ended up with a can of Diet Coke in bed. Yeah. So...laundry. It's 11 a.m. and still raining. kiarrh and rancourt arrived safely last Friday and... Another muse...
I babbled a bit over on Penumbra as I warned earlier that I would. I'm early to bed tonight as I haven't finished baking or cleaning the kitchen from said baking. So...up early to get a bit done before nere_ayo 's doctor appointment. Then home to get last minute things done and to fidget (ie. bake cookies) while waiting for the brisket to cook and kiarrh and rancourt to... Tags: penumbra

TGIF
For those who are interested, I have posted the SoTW "bonus novella" over on sin_sceal_eile . (The chapters will show up once I take them off "private".) This iss the beginning of my major revision of Season of The Witch . The beginning of SoTW was taken up with building canon and filling in the history of Sade's world. I've separated all of that out into this 18K word novella that I've tentatively... Tags: witch sade writing

When pigs fly...
The tornadoes missed us. They were all west and north and moved off, as they do out here, to the northeast. We did watch live as the local storm chasers and TV station helicopters were in hot pursuit. Most of the tornadoes, and there were many, hit open ground. One, however, hit a commercial hog farm and peeled back the roofs on all the the barns holding the livestock. Yes. I am just warped enough... Tags: weather life
