Some pictures of a bit of home improvement (in the rearranging category) done over the weekend. We've got a nice back patio that we share with our neighbor. It's a fairly nice place to hang out...or can be. After the old apartment mate moved out, it became something of a mess and we never really bothered to clean it. Plus, in the summer it gets full afternoon sun and gets unbearably hot...

So I've been working yarn fairly seriously for the past three days, and all I have to show for it is an unfinished wristest (which is a simple fingerless glove). I blew up my schedule this past weekend. No other word for it...Odd sleep times, and one nap on Saturday. Yet, yesterday - after one nap at 5 pm I was able to keep to the core sleep time. Up (nearly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed) at 2 am. Good for me! Although, of course, it would be even better if I can just stick to the damned schedule. (Not that I regret my weekend in the slightlest, mind you....

GEEK DRO P :  I have to thank pure_doxyk   for informing me that one of my favorite PBS / NPR personalities is a pot smoker and credits it with improving his writing and his approach to life in general. These are things I would not have expected from RICK MOTHERFUCKING STEVES . I'm sure that to some of you this is old news, but it's certainly new to me and his approach to it...
