So tonight was teh Big Night :) We all got our spot in the main gallery and it was just like at being at a furry con. Except without the porn and cash exchanging hands. And the tails. And the con drama. Well, maybe there was giddy "OMG THIS IS IT" drama, but that was brief and easily avoided as it had nothing to do with me :D The catered little dessert treats were awesome. I apparently like cream...

I blame normanrafferty for this. He mentioned "Brainy Yak" and I Googled to find out what he was on about. That's how I stumbled across this, which as far as I can tell doesn't have anything to do with Brainy Yak, but instead somehow involved a Yosimite Sam-like dinosaur...

Japanese sorcerors were known to ride giant frogs into battle. That conceit has been made semi-famous by the popular Naruto anime series, which is very loosely based on the adventures of Jiraiya, the greatest wizard of ancient Japan.
