I lived in Fremont for over 6 years (wow, I can barely believe it) and only recently moved across the bay to Mountain View. Good times! I'm going to try my best to keep watching the community, offer anything up I can from my experiences, among other things. Per my move, I've joined such communities as Mountain View, CA and Santa Clara County . Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
I have been very social this week, and I've spent a lot of time getting things done. So I declared today No Plan Day and determined to do only and exactly what I felt like. I'm making a birthday cake for a friend, and I'd like to use some fondant for part of the design. Does anyone know where I might get some in the Sunnyvale/Mountain View/Palo Alto/Menlo Park area? I no longer need them, and I'd like to donate them to an organization that either gives things like this to the poor/needy, or loans them out to the poor/needy as necessary. I'm willing to donate them to a religious institution/charity, but I prefer a secular organization. Anyone know of any place in the Sunnyvale/Mountain...
