Volume 41: May 2009 Hello, Welcome to the Edge of Propinquity. Volume 41 is now published. May is Spring in full bloom and high spirits. All of nature is shifting and growing. Just like the Edge of Propinquity. This month we have the first step of a long journey, the first step in a plan of revenge, the first murder of a new darkness, the first acceptance that not everything can be done as...

However, many interesting people and things seem to be appearing on twitter, including Mr. Gaiman, Mr. Reznor and a 140 character fiction publication called Thaumatrope that has been publishing some stories by the ubercool ...

Hey, folks. Just a quick post about some shiny. The new (and unfortunately last) issue of Southern Fried Weirdness Online is up. It is a sharp offing from our bud and editor grande southernweirdo . Also, mariness and I are sharing a TOC, which is cool. And her story "Planting" is way cool--even better! Here's a link to some awesomeness: http://www.southernfriedweirdness...
Had a nice time running around the burbs with Noel today, it was not only above freezing, but actually above FIFTY today! Ahhh, it was so nice being warm again! Plus all that damn snow is melting, which on the downside makes Noel fret about all the leaves that didn't get mulched at the end of fall, and made Kat noticethe dead squirrel in the front yard ( mariness must have been here)...
I was inspired by mariness ’s take on the 25 things meme where she included some things that maybe she hadn’t done. So, I’m changing this meme to 10 things I’ve imagined doing, but not actually done, and the context I’ve done them. Flown through the air under my own power. (Dreams, day dreams, super hero games. Fought and killed a dragon. (D&D games, World of Warcraft) Commanded a starship...
Now that the dust has settled and America's great biracial hope President Obama is safely esconced in the White House, we can reflect on the whole process of inauguration and clarify any unanswered questions. In the latestNational Geographic, copies of which keep appearing in mailbox despite my gift subscription having expired late 2008, there's an interesting feature on behind-the-scenes at the...
- MLK would have been 80 yesterday. I wonder what would have been were he not assassinated. - Channel 10 is using a CBS News feed, Channel 7 with MSNBC (conveniently covered with a 7 logo), and Nine appears to using their own footage, as far as I can tell. All the commentary is equally annoying, so I'm flicking between channels. - The commentators just talked right through the introduction of Michelle...
Just thought I'd give you a little stuff(ing) that's not a Twitterupdate... Big welcome to brigidsblest and mariness , two newcomers to my flist and both to be published by Morrigan Books later this year! We've now got all the names for The Phantom Queen Awakes and it's just a case of awaiting confirmation that names are spelled correctly and that they are happy how they are...
