в сообществе lj_nifty пользователь xach выложил забавный онлайн-сервис по созданию текстовых юзерпиков. выбираешь цвет фона и шрифта, размер шрифта и юзерпика, потом просто сохраняешь на фликер, жж, майспейс и имаджшак (круто по-русски) и еще куда-то там. мне очень понравилось :)

LiveJournal gives you a method to ban users from commenting on your journal, without removing them from your friends list. There's no indication to the banned user, until they try to post a comment.
