I don't know if this counts bec. she's a professional costumer, but OMG THIS HAT IS AWESOME. Check out La Bricoleuse's hat w/kinetic bird ornament . It's for the Williamstown Theatre Festival's upcoming production of "The Torch-Bearers," & her post contains a pretty detailed diary of making the hat, including the bird itself. A-Kon is the last weekend of the month. Friday night, the Babbage Patch Kids are presenting a steampunk ball. I need a new dress. I feel of the awesome...mentally anyways


So the last two nights I have been slaving away at my sewing machine producing a wonderful thing I am utmostly proud of.
