Tigerhaven CD

I look forward to this time of year for several reasons: 1. Of course, seeing my friends at MFM 2. Only slightly further down the list is creating my annual Tigerhaven benefit CD available for a paltry minimum $5 donation I also look forward to this time of the year when eselgeist lovingly crafts the CD artwork Link to full picture Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. This year's mix is chock...

hey, this is easy

After an unexpected but welcome visit from eselgeist (he was in the area, passing by on the way to visit his boyfriend), I sat down on the floor with a screwdriver and the packages I got from the frame shop today. I have now framed 20 pieces out of the 78 for the show. Go me! I need to drop by the store tomorrow with the wire and the attachment hardware for that, to ask for a quick lesson...

This is a bit on the neat side.

eselgeist posted this to his LJ. I totally dig it. ^_^ http://faceyourmanga.com/ Here's what I came up with, if my hair was still bleached white like back in the day. (I wanna do my hair white again too. ; _ ; )

Keys Found!!!!

I lost my keys when I went out for a walk last night. It actually wasn't much of a walk. I went outside and lay down on the path in front of the building. I watched the moon, saw the stars as they started to pop out. It was delightful. Then I went for a quick walk up and down the block. When I returned, I couldn't find my keys. Ours is a locked building; I had to call papertigers to let me...

Because it came up in a discussion with tamnonlinear about how important cooking for others is, and I liked the symmetry, I went back to find and compare these two images of eselgeist 's. I love how they provide flip sides of this coin. From the 2001 collection: I remember when I first saw this image, I caught my breath for a few heartbeats; my first interpretation of the...

You know who else was named Ferdinand? Archduke Franz, of Austria.

First, I suggest you refresh your childhood memories by watching Ferdinand the Bull , Disney 1938 version. Anyhow, one of my friends had to perform a travesty upon this bit of classic history, and turn the story into a Greek tragedy. Read, and prepare to find yourself saddened. Tauromachy

Something Awesome

The discovery of this actually started from a post by eselgeist where he linked a photo of Grace Jones. I decided to wiki her, because I honestly just don't know much about her. Then I found that her son Paulo Goude is in a French group called "La Gouache" and the above is (I believe) a tribute to his father. Ah, it is. I had to Babelfish the text to English: "An homage to the French...
