we went out to a halloween party that enlightened77 knew about. I liked all of the people I met there. They seemed pretty nice and were geeky, which is a definite bonus. I'm willing to bet a few might be interested in the game night, which is always a good deal. I had a lot of fun, and it's nice to meet some more people in the PDX area. I look forward to getting to know them better.
I think my body must be going on strike this month. I've been a good monkey, getting plenty of sleep, keeping stress levels low, eating decently, the whole bit, but it doesn't seem to be doing me a lick of good. I was sick at the tail end of September, and then I had an unusually bad visit from Aunt Flo two weeks ago. Then I got sick *again*last weekend. And today, I'm apparently starting ANOTHER...

I've got a number of friends who have Aspergers, including some of my closest friends. They're all generally lovely people, but every now and then they do something completely unexpected making you think "but.. but... what did you do that for?" and you suddenly see how their world view is subtly different. It's always fascinating when it happens. I was therefore interested to read some of the links...
Friday night was a game night. As usual, it rocked. Lots of time spent having good discussions with good friends I don't do anywhere near enough with. That ran until about 4 a.m., when corpse_light mentioned that his brain was about melted and I realized that, having had a full day at work, mine was well on its way there, too. Headed home and finally got to sleep around 5:30 or 6 a.m. Then...
Artomatic time is here again, and with it the hectic schedule of trying to see everything with everyone all the time. This Friday is, in particular, tricky and bound to be full of awesome. Kicking off at 7 p.m. is devolutionary 's band The Dark Dissolve performing an acoustic set. That's followed up by a big party on the 7th Floor (link goes to Facebook event listing) at 8 p.m. Without...
