just so y'all know ~ i don't care if you want to vent, yell, scream, whatever over what went on at fats. the only thing that would suck would be if it got to the point that we were downing each other about it, so let's not go there. but feel free to freak the fuck out, you won't be slapped on the wrist for it. if you even care at all about it ;~)
*waves pompons* Go Inbetweenies! Rah rah rah! erhm... Ahoy! I've read Fats for a year or more and loved the sartorial fun, but never posted there for various reasons -- one of which was that I'm not on LJ. Or wasn't until recently. Well, seeing this community get active has inspired me to take the plunge! Y'all are just that kickass!! Wooo! I'm usually around a US size 14, 5'6", and I don't ...
... It took us all by surprise. We get that. It hurt. It is a bit, well, unfair to all of a sudden feel unwelcome in a community that some of us have been active members in for years. inbetweenies was started by delicatebone to fill in the gap, so to speak, for those of us that are on the smaller end of the spectrum, the not quite able to always find our sizes in the straight sized ...
...) dress- ON (XL) tank top under the dress- ON (i think it's an XL, but it's a tagless one and the printing has worn off) belt- from a 2X faith21 dress. i ended up taking it off though. leggings- ON (L-as i said i size down because my depressing lack of butt) booties- payless (11) so. yeah. hi, inbetweenies. ETA- since i haven't posted an OOTD here before, here is another pic with my face!:
Hey all! :) I'm Grace, a senior in the Linguistics department of the University of Washington in Seattle. I'm excited to be here, and I hope I can contribute to making inbetweenies a more exciting place! I only have one OOTD for you today because my schedule's been too crazy for much else but jeans and sweatshirts lately, but here's hoping for more fun outfits in the future. I wore ...
... you that we welcome all of you to post your rejected OOTD's here, and to post away! Sales posts are still restricted to Thursdays, please read the user info for all the rules, and if you have any questions, contact one of the mods or mainters- contact info is also on the user info page. I hope that this means inbetweenies will become more active. Hey, something good out of this, right?
after that post about excluding posters under 16W from posting on fatshionista, i think we need to revive this community! inbetweenies, we gotta band together. because, i've lost about 30 lbs in the past 2 months, and i have gone down 2 dress sizes but i still consider myself bigger than most people i know and so i consider myself at least plus size. just because i'm wearing a 14/16 doesn't mean i...
... welcome to join, post, and comment in this community, so long as their contributions are on topic. For smaller fats who still want to share outfit posts, I suggest you check out inbetweenies , a community founded for this purpose some years ago but which has sadly become somewhat inactive. Thing the third is: diet/weight loss talk is unwelcome in fatshionista . This part is a ...
I've labelled this "inbetweenies" because AE only carries up to size 18, but for the record my measurements put me in the size 24 range and here I am wearing size 18/XXL. ♥ Here is the long-promised much awaited review of the American Eagle purchase I made two weeks ago . To start off I’ll say that AE is a company that knows how to ship to Canada. They offer free shipping on orders over $100, ...
... end up shopping straight stores, but obviously we need to be hitting the places that actually carry anything over a 10/12. And that fit tall drinks of water such as herself. We live in a major metro area (DC), so most chain stores are within reach. And of course, any DC-specific shops (especially in MoCo or downtown) are of interest as well. Any thoughts? x-posted to inbetweenies
