You know what I hate? Bugs. Ad you know what bug I hate in particular? Hornets. Why? Because they have no sense of personal space, that's why!!! They're all like "I'm just going to fly right in your face with my stinger dangerously close to your skin, don't mind me at all!" Cheeky bastards!

Anyways what was I talking about yesterday before I was so rudely driven off? Oh yes living with Alex and Val and never getting to spend time with Alex and being very depressed!

Weeellll Lex wanted to spend time with me too and knew I was depressed and wanted to be with me to try and help me cheer up and whatnot but couldn't not do what his mother asked him to because he's good like that. But then Val started complaining about me to him because I didn't spend enough time with the family, I didn't help out enough around the house, I didn't eat her cooking, I didn't say "hi" when I walked in the door (*snort* We both still think that one's rather ridiculous but it's actually some crazy Montana custom to greet everyone you see and ask them how they are. I think it's stupid only because people do it out of obligation, not because they care... *rolls eyes* Anyways) and because him being with me had changed him because the family was no longer as important to him and all he cared about was me etc. etc. Which was just too much for him because he can't stand anyone saying ad things about me. (Even if they are true, lol!) And he responded with angry words and then it just escalated into a full on screaming match... And this happened quite a few times. I wasn't home whenever it happened, it was always when I was at work but Lex told me all about it when I got home... But him and Val like NEVER fight. The last time they did was like YEARS ago. So i felt pretty shitty that i was tearing apart their relationship. At the same time I was pretty pissed at Val because if she had a problem with me she should have taken it to me and talked to me about it. Plus I just kinda felt like the whole being anti-social and not having a big appetite are just part of who I am you know? And I missed my home where they never tried to like control me or change me... I love my parents! ANYWAYS, I was trying to comply and stay upstairs more and eat more of her food even though I wasn't hungry and she kind of reached an understanding with Lex and doesn't make him do that much anymore so we get alot more time together now. So right now it's all much much better, but for a while there it was pretty shittastic and we were looking into renting our own place.

Oh and I'm not nearly as depressed as i was before so I'm not as clingy and needy anyways! I mean it still creeps upon me at unexpected time but for the most part I'm my bright cheery hyper self! And I'm gettiing used to living here now. it feels much more like home now that the majority of my stuff is unpacked and I don't just feel like a guest in his room but now it's OUR room! ^_^

Ooh and we're buying a truck together! One of our best friend's mom is selling us her truck for $800!! It's a fantastic deal because it's a good truck! And after we get that we're going to eventually get betting a computer, which my daddy offered to help us pay for! ^_^ Lex is going to teach me to drive soon though so I don't have to keep depending on everyone else. I want to learn but at the same time I'm just scared shitless!! I mean the other day we (me, Lex and our best friend Matteus) were in the jeep and we ran out of gas so we had to push it to the gas station, which wasn't very far, and they had ME steer and I had no effing clue what i was doing and I was so sure I was going to hit something!! But these guys stopped to help us and one of them steered for me so i was off the hook! But just the thought of driving sends me into a major panic and I freak out because I don't know what the Dickens I'm supposed to be doing! T_T

On another note though, I can't wait to get the computer. It'll be all awesome and sexy and I will love it to its!!! And ten you'll never be able to get me off it actually! ^^; Oh wells then I can be more active on The Evil Empire where I'll be a staff member!!! I could already be one but I told them that I wanted to wait until I got my own computer and had more time to dedicate to the community! Oh btw, the Empire is a web community for anime/manga geeks like me! it's a forum and download site all in one! It's brilliant!! I love it there the people are so friendly and are crazy just like me!!! i had the option of becoming a moderator (dealing with the people and the posts in the forum etc.) or becoming a staff member and dealing with the download section and more behind the scene work! I chose the latter because I hate people and I'm like unintentional one of the biggest spammers in the forum because I babble so much that most of my posts have no point or relevance and get deleted by mods! T_T However, I'm teh uber sexy contributer of downloads for the Asian music section,, the anime section and soon the ebook section! Did i mention that i have over 15000 fantasy and sci-fi ebooks on my external hard drive, because I do! Now who wants to touch me??? Anyways, so I'm uberly looking forward to staffing there! Though my staff member friend who recruited me just quit due to personal problems... T_T I misses her already! >.<

Teehee, who wants to guess how many gigs of Asian music i have btw? Because it's alot, it's half of myentrie music collection at the moment actually! It's 25 GB worth!!! And no I don't feel bad pirating Asian music because you can't get that stuff here in the US and you buy imports directly from Asia for like $60... Yeah the Asian music industry is ot dying because of people like me who can't get the music in their countries anyway. But yarr i have found some greet new bands due to my extreme pirating, I'll go into that later though because I'm starting a new thing where in all my posts (well except the last one but this was all supposed to be part of that anyway) where I have a little section for all the music, movies, anime, manga, games and books that I've seen or read recently and give my opinion on them and all that good stuff.

Anyways i actually think I'm done talking about stuff so I'll start on that part! ^_^ Toodles darlings (darling, just you Roo!! ;P).

Love,
~Sam~

Movies:

Iron Man -
I must say that I actually quite loved it! I was not expecting it to be any good because EVERYONE loved it and you know how much I love being a non-conformist! But I saw it and was very impressed. It was all cheesy and crap like most comic to movie adaptations. The characters and the situations were all very believable, great acting, great effects. It was just really good! I actually went to see it twice that's how much I liked it! ^_^

Jackie Chan's Legend Of The Drunken Master - An early Jackie Chan that was originally in Chinese then dubbed crappily (like most foreign movies. I was so upset that it didn't have the original Chinese voices and subtitles...) that is probably his funniest movie ever. Quite possibly his best movie ever actually. It was ridiculously stupid and oh so hilarious! I mean it wasn't like uber fantastic but it was still pretty darn entertaining!

Shaolin Soccer - This is honestly in my opinion one of the greatest movies to have ever come out of Asia! it's right up there next to Kung-Fu Hustle! And of course they're both written and directed by Stephen Chow so that could e why. But I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at any movie in my life. *snorts just remembering it* I mean come on, it had singing and dancing and martial arts! What more do you need?? It is now being added to my list of favorite movies.

Casshern - Ugh,  can't believe something that looked and sounded so good could be so crap. And come from Japan too!!! I lost interest in the movie in about the first 15 minutes. I hardly paid attention to the rest of it... It was just really crazy, and not the good kind the kida that makes no sense and leads nowhere and it just stupid and bad!!! Not even the fact that it had hot Asian guys could save it!!

Paprika - An anime film by Satoshi Kon, and it was really good! The animation was good, the storyline was awesome and it was very satisfying overall. You can definitely see Kon's mastery in it. he likes to blur the lines or reality and imagination in his work and he succeeded in this one as you try to puzzle out what's really happening versus what they're dreaming or being forced to dream. you have to see the movie to get what I mean but it was awesome. It was the first of his work that I knew I was seeing, I later found out that he did the anime show Paranoia Agent which is super cool but so totally messed up and on crack.

Millenium Actress - Another Satoshi Kon film that I decided to watch since I enjoyed Paprika so much and I was not disappointed once again! in fact I liked it better than Paprika! It was the most beautiful and tragic love story told in the most fantastic way. It's about the life of this one really famous actress years after she's already tired and she's being interviewed by a man who's a great fan of her work and she reiterates her story of her search for the man she loves by using the different roles she starred in. Once again making you not sure what really happened and what was just a part of a movie. It was just amazing though. I loved it!!!

August Rush - I really liked this movie, i mean I didn't love it but I thought it was really well done, and I loved the music in it! I don't actually have too much to say about it except that it was really moving.

Across The Universe - I loved this movie actually! Not because the music, acting or storyline were fantastic (though they were quite good I especially loved Jude's voice!) but because this one random part in the middle of the movie that has Eddie Izzard!! That right there was enough for it to be one of the best movie's ever!!!

The Chumscrubber - This movie was in one word, weird... very weird. After watching it i couldn't quite decide whether it was good weird or bad weird. I decided that I liked it.it was a blatant attack on our overly medicated hush up anything bad that happens pretend we're all happy society that we live in today. it had interesting characters and great acting all except two which I wasn't too crazy about. The main character did an especially good part and his very moving speech at the end was very sad ad brilliantly delivered because it gives hope that we haven't all lost our emotions and sense of humanity.

The Invisible - Ehh, it was ok. Cliche characters and predictable plotline. I was too impressed with it but I suppose it didn't suck.

Salvajes - A Spanish movie that I got because it looked really good and interesting. Boy was I wrong, It was very crap and and! It was only a little under an hour and a half but it was torture to sit through the whole thing, It had bad acting, stupid dialogue. Shitty characters that you didn't really care about. And TERRIBLE cameramanship. I mean I guess it was an independent film, but still that's no excuse for being crap!

Indiana Jones And The Crystal Skull - All I have to say about this movie is: ALIENS?!?!?!!? *pees pants laughing* Oh god I laughed so hard in the theater, I couldn't believe it had aliens. Oh god it was priceless! No actually it wasn't a ad movie, it was just what you would expect from an Indiana Jones movie. Actiony and fun but that's it really.

The Love Guru - Oh so painfully stupid. Remind me to never let Matteus pick the movie again! I mean it wasn't that bad but it was just so stupid. Funny stupid at parts but mostly just stupid stupid.

Speed Racer - I really liked this movie, I mean sure it was cheesy but it was just so colorful and fun! And the action scenes were pretty awesome, and it had hot Asian guys! Lol, "He can't be evil, hes ASIAN!" I said alot during the movie! =P I actually first said that when I received a newsletter from the ACLU and it was talking about Bush's top agents in torture or something and one of them was this older Asian man and then I honestly thought that. ROFL! I a a retard, I need help... T_T But yeah it was actually alot better than I thought it would be. Very fun, I liked it.

Kung- Fu Panda - I was honestly expecting this to be very stupid but I was pleasantly surprised because it was hilariously AWESOME!!! The opening scenes are still my favorite "There is no charge nor awesomenss... or attractiveness!" *snort* And it had some hilarious fight scenes it! It was really well done, a new favorite of mine! ^_^

Books:

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer - I liked it fully knowing what it was. A cheesy cliche idealized teen romance. I mean I didn't know that's what it was when I started it, I thought it was actually fantasy I was terribly disappointed to find out otherwise. But I still liked it, it was captivating and enjoyable though the characters are a bit of retards, especially Bella. And Edward's like TOO perfect. And they're relationship is so painfully cliche. *rolls eyes* But I was taken in by it and actually am looking forward to reading the next book.

Foop! by Chris Genoa - Ahhh!!! BEST book I've read in a LONG time! It was just so effin hilarious! I honestly nearly peed my pants!!! He's just has a really witty and funny way of describing things. it's cheeky humor really. And the book itself is just fantastically random! However I must say that it was very reminiscent of Adams and it's got to be bad if I noticed it and I haven't even read Hitchhikers! It was still really good though!! I LOVED it actually, i would buy it if I found it but haven't yet...

A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin -  I haven't actualyl finished this book yet but it's rather good. Not as good as the first I don't think, it's moving along quite a bit slower, not as gripping. I'll give my final verdict when I finish it.

Stardust by Neil Gaimen - I'd like to point out that I have not seen the movie yet so I had no idea what to expect from this book. Another one that I'm not finished yet but I'm rather enjoying it. I think alot of the characters are twats though so I'm not uberly impressed but so far it's enjoyable.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand - Sweet Jaysus this book is fantastic!!! I still have another 200 pages to go but I'm madly in love with it. It's just so fantastic! And horrifying in some aspects because their society is just so messed, the people so depraved. I can't wait to finish this book but at the same time I don't want it to end because it's so good!

Anime:

Junjou Romantica -
Ehhh, it was ok, just like the manga. it's not bad, it's just not really all that great so far in my opinion. I'm not sure if I'll continue to watch it or not... It makes me feel a bit dirty... >.>

Manga:

Il Gatto Sul G - Blahhh! Really really good manga, great characters and storyline, nice art too!  really original shonen-ai actually! I can't wait to read the third volume!!!

Descendents Of Darkness - One of the goriest shojos I've ever seen but oh so effing fantastic! It's really crazy and cool and BLOODY!!! in a good way of course!

Yellow - I only read the first volume but it was fun and sexy. Oh the hot guys!!! *nosebleed* So yeah great art and an engaging actiony plotline.

World's End - It's the sequel to "Dear Myself" which I really liked, this one not so much because one of the characters when uber crazy and like made the guy he was suposed to love a prisoner... >.> Uh wtf??? It wasn't bad, it was just kinda crazy!

Games:

Guitar Hero - God I suck at this game, I have terrible hand eye coordination but damn is it fun! And addictive! Once you start you feel obligated to play at least 6 songs! Lol! It's got really good music too!

Lego Star Wars - There is no game more fun anywhere in the world, I swear!!! *squeals* Oh so fun! That's all I can say! ^_^

Pokemon Ranger - A very weird game, fun in it's own way. It's a break from the normal Pokemon franchise into something a little more original. It's just as addictive as them though. Though still kind of weird. You get to be a Pokemon Ranger (hence the title) rather than a trainer.

Pokemon Dash - Another fun Pokemon game that's a break from the norm, it's just a racing game where you use the stylus to control your character which is actually more difficult than it sounds.

Pokemon Pinball Ruby And Sapphire - I LOVE THIS GAME!!! The original Pokemon Pinball was fun but this one is all pimped out and awesome! I still suck at it because I suck at pinball but that doesn't stop it from being fun! ^_^

Puzzle Quest - It's a combination of a puzzle game and an adventure game but I just skip all the crap they tell me during the adventure part so they'll make with the puzzles!! The puzzle are like Bejeweled, match 3 or more of the same colored thingy majigs in a row ad take down your opponents life force! I'm actually good at that kind of puzzle game but I got my ass kicked in the second puzzle... T_T

Gauntlet Dark Legacy - I first found out about this game when I was 14 because my first boyfriend really liked it and I played it with him. It's a fun hack and slash RPG with THOUSANDS of levels and BILLIONS of monsters to kill! I only played through the first level and I'd already killed over 400!!! it's tons of fun and uber cool!

Brain Age 2 - I love love LOVE this game!! Even though it makes me fee stupid because it tells me 'm stupid! At least I get smarter while splaying it and get to do fun things that challenge my intellect! In fact I'm off to go play it now! Once Lexie finishes I guess... *pouts*

Music:
/>
Maximum The Hormone - Buiikikaesu - The aforementioned fantastic Japanese band that I discovered. They do the second ending and opening themes for Death Note. And their music is fantastici!! It's like pop hard rock screamo!!! You must listen to it, it's teh uber sex I tell you!!!
Favorite Tracks - Chu Chu Lovely Muni Muni Mura Mura, Koi No Mega Lover, Louisana Bob, Kuso Breakin No Lilly, What's Up People, Zetsubo Billy

Katy Perry - One Of The Boys - I found out about her due to her "I Kissed A Girl" single that scandalized me but I liked at the same time. The rest of her album, while still being rather immature, is actually really good! I like her style, but at the moment I'm into chick pop rock so that could be why!
Favorite Tracks - I Kissed A Girl, UR So Gay, Thinking Of You, Still Breathing, Lost, If You Can Afford Me

The Dresden Dolls - No, Virginia - Wow this album is just wow! it's their third album and ti's actually mostly demos and b-sides but it's fantastic! It brings back all the reasons why we love Amanda and Brian in the first place! ^_^ Oh and there lyrics are what I'm using as my LJ title and whatnot! ^_^
Favorite Tracks - Dear Jenny, Lonesome Organist Rapes Page-Turner, Night Reconnaissance, The Kill, Boston

Charlotte Sometimes - Waves And The Both Of Us - I adore this album! And I adore Charlotte! She's so original and edgy and she''s only 20!!!! More people must listen to her and worship her!! She needs more fans!! She's my current obsession right now! I hearts her!
Favorite Tracks - How I Could Just Kill A Man, Waves And The Both Of Us, Sweet Valium High, Ex Girlfriend Syndrome, AEIOU
