I resisted it for about a month but I finally gave in to falling in love. With Ryan, with manhattan, brooklyn, greenpoint, subways, hot sticky weather, long walks, funny smells, cab drivers, bus drivers, free newspapers, metrocards, williamsburg, the same pizza places on every corner, meatpacking district on a friday night, heels, blisters, no tights, and a few specific diners. I <3 NY has no meaning to me, but this is what it feels like to fall in love in the center of the universe.
