I decided to finally install iTunes on my computer, as well as FrostWire, some downloady program. I want to compile a really great summer playlist, so if you have any suggestions, lay 'em on me! All suggestions thoroughly appreciated and considered.
Right now I'm listening to Untitled 8 by Sigur Ros. I think I've written about this in here before, but this song was playing for the entire duration of my conversation with Tristan on the phone that ultimately ended our relationship. That was such a horribly constructed sentence, but I think it's clear what I'm saying. This was the background music to our breakup. It's such a beautiful song.
I am officially on summer vacation. I finished my last exam today just in time to watch the game. The Canucks are in Round Two.
I've got my bike back from Delta, so Hos & Tricks can once again rule the roost. Man, I love that bike. My beautiful green CCM. Danielle and I biked around town yesterday looking for Limoncello, our search ending with us sitting on my garage roof in the sun to drink it. I made spaghetti for dinner and then we met up with some of the lads at McBride. Dustin brought his hookah, so there's that. Baby Pat showed up soon after, which was really nice. We came back to my house after to have a fire in the backyard, complete with marshmallows and hot dogs.
I just had a strange and lengthier than expected text conversation with Lucas. The Febs played at The Media Club tonight and I intended on going. So much for that.
Before I left for my exam, I slept for a while outside. I lay in the sun and had a nap before writing for almost two hours straight. My hand cramped up near the end of the exam while writing about the significance of the title of Ghost World to the story, using specific examples from the text. It was alright. I had to write about Towelhead for the first half of the exam, so hopefully that all panned out well. I guess I'll find out soon enough.
I'm going to start biking, swimming and pilates on a (hopefully) consistent basis. I know the first won't be a stretch since I do it anyway, but the last two will definitely be a goal for this summer. I'm going to make a summer list. Everyone can help!
Also, did I mention I got that job? It's freaking me out, but it'll be fine.
