FedEx, please die in a fire.

Called yet again today. They claim they tried to charge a credit card for the pickup and it failed, but can't tell me which one because it's from so long ago (which I wish the three other people I talked to when it was within the right time frame could have told me). This is, in and of itself, pretty damn fishy because I have never had trouble with any of my credit cards (and my credit score is reasonably nice). Also, I am positive that I paid for the stupid package in cash.

So they still squarely believe that they were never paid, and refuse to help unless I can produce a receipt or some kind of proof of payment. Ye gods, if I had known I would be required to prove that I paid for this package, I would have framed that damn receipt and hung it on my wall to make sure I wouldn't lose it.

I am MORE than simply enraged. But I am wondering if I should just pay the damn thing and be done with it, because I want my credit score to stay good. It's freaking highway robbery, but what else can you do? I really hate my life.
